Yo, I’m on mobile but my head is swirling with Wakko’s Wish after marathoning some of Animaniacs with my girlfriend so here, under the cut, long list of ramblings

When Wakko decides he wants to set out to earn money, Yakko argues with him for a bit on who should be leaving.

Yakko wants to go himself, doesn't think Wakko should put himself out there alone.

Wakko convinces his brother by reminding him Dot needs a decent amount of care with her illness, and that causes Yakko to cave in.

He lets Wakko go, but damn is he worried about it all. That's his baby brother.

Yakko knows he'd be just as worried about Dot if he went tho.

Dot isn't happy, she begged Wakko to let Yakko go instead, she doesn't want to be left alone with him.

Wakko tends to be her favorite, they're closer in age after all and she has some... resentments towards Yakko.

Considering Yakko remembers at least pieces of their parents and Dot knows nothing, she's bitter about it.

Especially since some for reason Yakko is so closed off to questions about it.

Still, Wakko goes and the two are left without the middle sibling anchor.

I think in this time they might make some amends, talk things through, and that's when the story starts becoming a nightly ritual.

Since Dot demands Yakko tell her SOMETHING about their parents, he comes up with it. It may be a half truth, it may be all fiction.

It helps them keep sane through it all, the story.

Dot realizes she shouldn't hate her oldest brother just because he doesn't want to talk about some things.

Lord knows Yakko never shuts up otherwise, so he must have good reason to keep his lip zipped on this.

And Yakko takes really good care of her in those months, he really shows how much he does care. Even if he does it in his annoying and funny way.

Wakko comes home to Yakko and Dot being closer than he remembered. It's a good thing.

I think this makes "The Scene" extra painful to watch, since their close bond has been so short lived, but ahaha
