Do you have any recommendations for blogs that post a lot of Riddle stuff but based more on the books than the films?

Personally, I try to keep everything as original as possible on this blog. Although I could point you to specific posts there aren’t many blogs I follow that post Riddle-centric stuff. Most of the Riddle blogs aren’t very active, but I’ve posted blogs that I personally admire/know are active , as well as including a few personals which I follow for certain aesthetics.

♣ Is there an author(s) that you look up to with your writing skills?

Well, as far as writers in general go, there was an rper who took me under her wing when I first started out. I’ve always admired her writing, both in and out of character, and especially loved her creativity when it came to plots and backstories. I admire tons of writers on tumblr as well such as speculativeserpent, tobreakmybones, elderwandskeeper, drxmeda, kcdavra, ect. But,  dictionarywrites is the one I’ve drawn the most advice from. Their posts on character voice and word usage have made me more conscientious about what I’m writing. When it comes to published books Frankenstein, Dr. Jekyle and Mr. Hyde, and Dracula were big influences when I was growing up. Currently I’ve developed a fondness for  Edgar Allen Poe, George R. R. Martin, and Michael Crichton. However, there is only one author who really changed my life, Rick Yancey, who wrote the Monstrumology series. Those books, in my opinion, are some of the best gothic pieces of literature published in modern day.
