I think what upsets us most is how the dev is talking about making the code open source like its a possibility (a "might"). Call me entitled or whatever but I actually think if you're going to discontinue an accessibility tool used by half a million people (some of which, like polyfrag systems, LITERALLY DONT HAVE ALTERNATIVES), the least you can is make it open source and allow people to self host. Like that shouldn't be a "maybe", that's just the bare minimum

There's a lack of transmasculinity focused theory. Right? We can all agree on this. We can also agree this needs to be fixed.

But then there's this expectation that, like, it needs to be perfect, it can't have even a sentence that can be interpreted weirdly to have a wrong implication, it needs to represent every other demographic without error, it also needs to fit into preexisting frameworks nicely,

LIKE! why is the standard so high? Why isn't existing and currently developing transfeminist theory held to these expectations?
