seeing multiple mistakes in my slides pain and agony

things remember to fix before next year's survey:

add "adaptive shifter" as a tubbo option

fix "dragon-goat hybrid" to "dragon-ram hybrid" (sorry schlarklez nation)

add "fox hybrid" as a wilbur option

add "blaze hybrid" as a jack manifold option

add "human but to the left" as a philza and connor option

add "selkie" as a sally the salmon option

putting these here now so u guys can hold them against me if i forget for yet ANOTHER year

"Albino" is a derogatory and deeply offensive term tied to an incredibly violent usage and history. As it is also often used for animals, it can be very dehumanizing alongside being a term that is often considered to be a slur.

Please consider using the term "has albinism" (or similar person-first lanugage) in the future.

It's clear that you care deeply for others and for cultural sensitivity (such as with "Construct" instead of Golem), and I'm sure that you weren't using this term to intentionally cause harm. I just want to express the importance of not using this terminology, as it causes harm individually and for the community at large. Some individuals view "albino" as an acceptable term for themselves, or have reclaimed it, but this is not generally reflective of the broader community. Person-first language is not appropriate for all things, but in terms of discussing albinism it typically is.

Could I perchance ask for a status update on the data processing from the species survey?

the data’s actually all processed for the survey itself! i still gotta do the slide formatting and additional comments but the reason it’s taken so long is bc i wanna do some additional data to celebrate 5 years

HOWEVER that’s taking a lot more time than i expected bc i am bad at stats so i think i’m gonna push it back and just get it done when i can. which is to say expect this year’s results by the end of the week probs 👍

the wifi has since come back on so i will try to crunch this out as fast as possible! i got a new method of putting in additional comments this year so idk if it'll go any faster BUT it does give me more room and flexibility with formatting so i'm very hyped (˵˃ ᗜ ˂˵)
