Not posting much

Although literally no-one has asked me to talk about this, and no one probably cares, I do feel like I should say something about this.

Over the past few months, I've not been doing much actual posting on here, and only really just reblogging other peoples posts and sometimes adding additional information in those reblogs. And I'll admit, it's extremely lazy of me and honestly I think its a shitty thing to do if you don't contribute. A few days ago I made a post which I'd consider my first actual post in a few weeks.

Although I'd consider myself quite educated on matters regarding Israel, Jewish history, Judaism, politics among other things, I simply don't have the time nor the mental health right now to actually contribute to an online discussion or make actually informative (or opinionated) posts. I just get busy with education sometimes, and poor mental health other times, sometimes theres other people to be worried about. I guess any normal person knows about that. It's important not to prioritise your online presence over real life. I guess I just had more time to actually do things when I started than I do now.

I think anyone in this political camp or this community also knows exactly that this is a very mentally and emotionally draining topic, especially seeing how much suffering our community is in right now can also be quite demoralising and disheartening. But as Golda Meir once said: "Pessimism is a luxury a Jew can never afford himself".

Will I take a break? probably not. But I can promise that at some point, I will start making good posts. I just can't right now. No one's been complaining about this, I just feel it's important to address this.

If anyone is struggling with this political topic the way I've seen family members struggle over any part of this conflict, please g-d take a breath and log off for a little bit.
