A groan came from behind the rather large leather chair as Hayden spun around to face her cousin, scooting her uncle’s chair closer towards the desk before she pulled one of her legs up and tucked it close to her chest. She rolled her eyes before letting her head fall back against the chair. ❝ I’ve already told her a thousand times that I don’t want to attend that blind date but she keeps insisting that I have to.❞ She used her other leg to swing the chair from side to side slightly as she rocked herself, eyes closing as she listened to the older girl talk.
Hayden had decided she was going to have no part in such events even if it meant she’d had to throw a fit and a half. It was moments like these where she began to consider what it would be like if she joined her cousin in the air force. Maybe then her mother would lighten up about her non-existing love life. ❝ Not a bad thing because you already got out of it. ❞ She let out an annoyed sigh, ❝ Yeah she does. I don’t understand that woman. You know she already went out and bought me a dress? She’s fucking losing it, man. ❞
