✯━ Slender, manicured fingers reaching up to her face to pinch the bridge of her nose, her dark hues never wavered in looking at the current state of her drunk company. She wouldn’t lie, it’s been awhile since she had a couple of drinks, so her mind is not really at a normal state; but Kayden’s situation is much worst. Yelling about being with someone, finding someone who will take care of him, Avery is reaching the last of her nerve.
“Why would I end up with this drunk kid?” That’s what she had thought, something she’s been repeating in her head. Wondering about things or if he will spill some secrets, Avery didn’t leave him, it could be a good way to get some information to use against the triplets. But she was wrong, she is very wrong.
“DO YOU REALLY WANT ME TO FIND YOU SOMEONE TO LOVE?” she exclaimed, slamming her shot glass down at the wooden round table.
there’s a lot of things kayden doesn’t do on a weekly basis and drinking himself to oblivion is one of them. to be more precise, staying away from alcohol is key to kayden staying sane (because, truth be told, he’s not good at holding his alcohol). yet, somehow, he’s found himself drinking with avery and he’s had just a little bit too much tonight.
‘TIL THE TEARS RUN DOWN FROM MY EYES.’ with his glass clutched tightly, raised to his mouth as if it was a microphone, he sang at the top of his lungs. swaying from side to side, his shoulder bumped against avery’s lightly. ‘LORD! SOMEBODY! SOMEBODY!’
the moment avery slammed her shot glass down, however, it snapped him out of his drunken haze. at least, long enough for him to simmer down and whisper, ‘can anybody find me somebody to love?’ kayden stared at her with wide eyes before reaching over and squishing her cheeks together. ‘YES, MY SAVIOR. BLESS YOUR PURE SOUL, NOONA.’
