I need some help...

... more experienced and popular Star Wars fanfic writers than I, I have a question or two for you as a smaller creator account.

Should I be worried that this showed up recently on what is the (in my opinion) tamest segment I have written up so far of Poets and Painters?

Is this something that happens to a lot of you who write mature/explicit fics regularly, or did I just get unlucky (and/or get someone clutching their pearls over a couple of lines in the fic so they reported me)?

And, what happens when fics get slapped with these kinda labels? This is the first time this has happened to me with anything I've written, so I'm not versed in... all this.

This community label showed up within the last hour or so, I believe. Not panicking (yet) because I don't know if I should be, or what this means for my future segments that will be a little more adult than "Early Morning"...

(I also don't know who to tag to ask.)

I got tagged in something, and while I was looking at it I accidentally backed out of the whole stinking app, and now the notification that shows I was tagged in something is gone, and I don't recall the username. :(

I know it was a masterlist on someone's blog for fics by other authors of characters that Pedro Pascal's played because my Mando fic "Fireside Friendship" was added to it before I closed myself out of the screen.

I just wanna say whoever it was (if it wasn't the blog owner themselves) who decided to share it with a wider audience than my itty-bitty self through means of recommendation and inclusion in a masterlist of fics: thank you.

I was so incredibly honored to be included in something like that for the split second I had to look at it.

had a panic attack because I thought I saw the username of an old ""friend"" from school in my notifications for this blog (they had a very specific URL style back in the day) and now I don't think I'll be able to post things I had planned for tonight without being paranoid

I know it wasn't them because I checked the profile in question extensively but now I'm reliving a lot of old memories of that person and how they hurt me

how they used to demean me constantly for writing fanfic (which they themselves did, so...?) and just give me shit for my writing back then. They knew my main Tumblr account so I thought they found my sideblog through there and came here to pull the same old shit under a new account or something.

definitely not feeling great and would love a good distraction

Sorry not sorry for Marvel-posting to the people primarily following me for my Star Wars stuff but Broooooo Across the Spider-Verse was a trip and I'm so glad I got to see it with my aunt and younger cousins tonight while they're visiting from out of state.

Entering a mini-hiatus of any kind of posts for the next few days perhaps. Attending a convention and catching up with a friend for the next two days, and then taking Sunday to recover and edit chapter 6 of Sorry, Wrong Comms! up in time for Monday (unless I'm just too tired, then it'll be Tuesday)!

I've been meaning to reply to some of the tag-commentary on the "How Dominoes Fall" artwork and something I was tagged in recently, so I promise I'm not ignoring anyone's sweet thoughts/pings, but I'm just a "little" hyper focused on something I've been looking forward to since the start of the year along with the new Zelda game. 🩷
