I think V1 HAS a womb, but like. This is all headcannon shit so read if ye like that.

V1 HAS a "womb" of sorts. It does things an actual human uterus does. Well, for V1, it cycles blood.

Blood goes bad (this is what Russians struggled with when trying to make blood powered machines, after all. It's why guttermen have people in them.)

So, like, it makes sense for V1 to cycle the blood he gets.

Once blood is entirely useless, he'd probably "shed" it.

So it was probably called a "womb" because. That's a familiar word.

(yes I know it's some sort of connection to the Tree of Life. But also trans V1.)
