Leila Sales, This Song Will Save Your Life
we wish we could talk to our regular therapist right now! Our therapist in psychiatry is nice and everything, but this is stuff we wouldn’t feel comfortable telling her, and she wouldn’t understand/believe it anyway (we think).
it’s also not something we can talk about on tumblr because apparently it is Impossble™ and not Real DID™ and possibly we are abusers/toxic/dangerous for believing in it or something idek
I’m sorry… I’m sorry I’m not even making sense…
there were other things (so many things from so many newly resurfaced memories) and most of them are “uncontroversial” although still hard to believe in a different way. About having to witness violence done to others, other people from our village… about percieving violence done to system mates in the same way - as something done to others - as something to feel survivor’s guilt over… as “omg how can anyone do that to a CHILD!” while being sure one is an adult and has always been one… memories from one system mate ending up in another, who is overwhelmed and confused by them :’(
we are so tired and exhausted
