Originally, my first thought is Reader and Jungkook in Seven Days. But.. I could also imagine Reader and any of the BTS boy in this situation too.

Y’all wanted a story where an underdog social outcast who experienced discrimination finally did something in retribution, and we got it! Except it was about Shoji and Spinner and not Izuku!
Y’all wanted a story where an abuse victim and their situation changes so they can take steps to have a healthier, happier, and more productive future with their estranged family and/or former abuser, and we got it! Except it was with Dabi, Shoto, and Izuku, not Toga or Hawks!
Y’all wanted a story about someone learning they were horribly wrong and learning to accept that and continue past it even if they can never regain what they lost and their future amends will be done imperfectly, and we got it! Except it was with Hawks and Endeavor and not Bakugo!
Y’all wanted a story where someone who did monstrous and horrible things to the people close to them and complete strangers was publicly shamed and experienced extreme physical violence to the point of death, and we got it! Except it was All for One and not Endeavor or Bakugo!
Y’all wanted a story about learning to care about and depend on others, and how in order to do that you must learn to accept yourself first - and that sometimes that means loving another person above all others, including yourself, and we got it! Except it was with Bakugo with Izuku and Ochako with Toga!
Y’all wanted a story about a deeply controlled and hurt character who learned to have, value, and act using their autonomy and stop at nothing to keep it, and we got it! Just with Shigaraki and Hawks, not Dabi or Katsuki
I get the sense that a lot of folks who want a certain type of arc for BNHA did, in fact, get exactly what they wanted, but not on the character they expected!

At this point I don't even know if I want Jun and Sorn to end up together. That was the most self-indulgent, self-pitying "apology" ever. Sorn didn't even take any accountability. He's much more concerned about how this situation has made him feel as opposed to how Jun feels. At least that's what his words say. I'm still hoping Sorn will grow up, I really want to root for him. For a guy who doesn't want to date a "kid", he is so immature.
