Another year has gone by. Seasons gone by, birthdays past, and again Clock Town was preparing for the Festival of Time. It was a celebration that used to bring Linkette joy, back when she was a child and had a complete family. Now, it brought her something bittersweet. A reminder of her parents long gone. A testament to her own strength in saving her world from certain doom. And a hundred memories of all the moments she shared within that cycle of time.

[ I made you something, ] the blonde soldier signed to her sister, her lips curled in a smile that held so many feelings behind it. Feelings she never spoke of. Feelings she didn't want to burden her sister with.

Linkette reached into her bag and pulled out a beautiful yet simplistic mask. Across each cheek were delicately carved gusts of wind...or perhaps they were lines of sheet music. Maybe a deliberate mixture of the two. The mask itself was primarily a soft light pink, carefully crafted paper roses of red and pink framing the perimeter. Linkette was no craftswoman, but it was clear she put a lot of care and effort into making a mask that represented her sister. Even though she could be cold and closed-off, her love for Pink was clear as day.
