Every time I watch the Parenthood episode where Julia tells Sydney about heaven when Joel did not want her to AND THEY AGREED NOT TO, I immediately think "this is what he should have left her over."
So I'm rewatching Parenthood for the first time in YEARS and im on Season 5, and when I watch seasons 1-4 all I'm doing is thinking about how JOEL AND JULIA NEED MORE SCREENTIME then I get to Season 5 and THIS IS NOT WHAT I MEANT!! I did NOT need them to get the Jim and Pam treatment of STUPID MARRIAGE PROBLEMS!! AND ALMOST GETTING DIVORCED!! and of course they get together at thr end but then we get ONLY LIKE 3 EPISODES of happy times and then the series ENDS!!!! Im so sad rn
listen up, Joel Graham. You can not CAN NOT be angry with Julia when she makes friends with another person who happens to be a man and is emotionally available when all you do is put her down, neglect her, and close her out. you are a huge douche, you raging douchecanoe.
