There was certainly a strong sense of individuality in this city, each stranger inhibiting it different in a variety of ways. He had come to terms with the idea that there were people that came from time periods that were completely opposite of his own -- medieval, deep future, other dimension. Thankfully the young man could adjust easily to such things, his world a post-apocalyptic mess of sorts, giving him the chance to accept everything as it were. It didn’t stop him from being interested, however. Anyone would be shocked to discover that in this very city, heroes of the millennium walked the streets in casual attire.
Out of completely kind curiosity, he approached a young lady who appeared.. contrasting to citizens whom lived in a modern era. Was it her way of speaking, maybe? Or the way in which she carried her gait? It couldn’t help to ask, hopeful attitude in check that the stranger wouldn’t take offense to an innocent question.
Naegi reached out and tugged lightly on her sleeve, waiting until she had turned to meet him. ❝ Excuse me, ❞ he began, bowing his head slightly in polite regard. ❝ I hope it’s okay for me to ask but -- is it possible I could know where you came from? I haven’t talked to someone of a different, um, time-period than myself yet. ❞ He fumbled just a bit. What if she were of nobility? Was he being super imprudent?
❝ I’m sorry if I’m overstepping my boundaries--.. ❞
