Kyle was dragged at the forgery and dropped at the hospital in front of someone who could see him for a few seconds, the same way it happened to the ghosts at the school being dropped at the library. The old lady who saw him died right after due to the shock.
Now the Pastor is gone (i think) and the eight children that died at the flood have crossed over. There's no dark pool with hands pulling the ghosts anymore. Where those hands the kids? Why would they pull someone and why drop them at the bus stop and at the library? Why do they drop the ghosts near a living person?
Why the Forgotten Scars have a way to lift the veil ever so slightly? What's their purpose? And was that purpose achieved at the School Forgotten Scar?
Also, the foot steps right in front of the place Kyle got pulled. If there's a way for the Forgotten Scars to drag a ghost to the living world only for a few seconds, it might be possible to use them to enter the spirit world as well. But then how did Van Heidt got from Maddie's door to the Forgery?
Mr. Martin's watch was a master key to all the School Scars, and himself was a key to Janet's Scar. Could it be that Van Heidt is like, also a master key? Also don't think this is right but I just have so many questions omg.
We see Maddie crossing from her door to a forest. It could be the forest behind school, and so my previous theory that all scars are interconnected throughout Split River and crossing over just means you're not tied to only one place anymore would apply here, but I don't think is that. At least not just that.
And wtf is up with Dr. Hunter Price omg this woman is so intriguing yet confusing!
You guys don't understand how happy I was when Maddie told her mom everything and got the support she needed. Her door open to her for a reason, because she finally let the one person supposed to take care of her do so.
Mr. Anderson being back just to give some support to the kids without pressuring them for the truth is so relieving. Usually shows with a similar theme just have the adults not be worried at all or being a completely obstacle, nothing in between. It's nice having different adult figures showcasing different (realistic) ways of reacting to all the weird and dangerous things the teens are involved at
Simon saying to someone else that trying to save everyone costed forgetting yourself while giving that person some confort and reassurance is heartbreaking. The parallels of him and Maddie being so kind and empathetic that they help people's souls heal even if that might cost theirs. The parallels of himself loosing his alive time, his college and his future, his family worried, all because he gave everything he got to save his best friend. I need him and Maddie to have peace, please, let them be normal weird teens with a bright future and a beautiful friendship together
Okay, so... questions/theories time, I guess? (School Spirits S3, EP6)
A lot of people had theorized here that the White Eyes wasn't Van Heidt and that Van Heidt could be bodysnatching people to live forever, and for you people who shared this theories, my thanks and congrats!
The money he has now as Kyle is from his lands, shops and banks, probably converted in some way through the dairy business. He has also used his money, knowledge and power since 1912 to erase and rewrite history and manipulate Split River since its foundation.
We also know his original body was in a coffin, so at some point he was able to scape death by his first bodysnatch, Mr. Martin's friend who died after getting hit by a lightning. Van Heidt took the boy's body and ran away. The boy was reported missing and years later, Van Heidt returned to the town as a grown man and continued his influence. Kyle's body was snatched at September 13th, 2004, so he might have had to snatch at least another body before.
Since the ground where Mr. Martin's friend has died was where the school was build upon, he appears as this non corporeal spirit at the Forgotten Scar, as if he gets a bad signal from the place that has the memory of his soul. Probably Van Heidt had some influence in building Split River High to hide the history of the church and the lighting strike and maybe suffocate the remaining spirits. Destroying the school is just another layers of stones to disconnect the spirits further down so they loose their presence in the physical plane, like the lightning boy.
Simon's memory loss is due to him being both body and soul at a realm that doesn't bear both. If is the Stone Tape theory that's the link between the ghosts and the place they're at, the cost of Simon being there fully is losing his memories, because he has nothing attaching him to the Spirits Reality (maybe that's why Rhonda said that the Forgotten Scar takes something from you).
The Pastor is able to age and get hurt, but not dying since he's technically already in a dead people's plane. So Simon isn't dead nor has died after the flood.
Why are the ghosts getting thrown from the Forgotten Scar at the library? Why before it was the road?
Janet's theory about Scars having some sort of energy that converts into interaction between the physical and the spiritual world might be why Van Heidt can kinda transit between both realms and has found out how to access everyone's scars. But how could he know that Maddie has a Scar that's not bound to a place, but to herself? And how could he know that she would open that Scar while in the corn maze?
Van Heidt used Maddie's open door to scape. He didn't cross over, so that means that if you use a door that isn't yours, you can walk freely everywhere as a spirit? Or does that mean that there's no crossing over? Are Janet and Dawn just walking around Split River?? (Cause it did feel sorta weird that the Science Theory Queen Janet to just be used mainly for season 2, she's such a good character, i miss her)
Maddie's door is the door of her house at the boiler room. So it is a Scar, and somehow she gets separated from her body when she access it.
Will Van Heidt just show up at the school, in the Spirit World? And will he do something to Wally's door??
The Nurse says that "someone frome beyond our world came in", so did Van Heidt enter her scar with a body and his soul and left with Kyle's body? Then how will he find a new host body for his soul since he left Kyle's body?
Rhoda saw something at the dark pool in the Forgotten Scar. Was she seeing the library? Or was she seeing the person that pulls them? Do only ghosts get pulled?
Simon wasn't pulled at the pool, we was carried by the flood. Maybe that means he will be able to go back to the Living World?
Why can Simon connect mentally with the Pastor? Just because they're alive, both body and soul at the Spirit World? Why they suddenly have psychic abilities?
Where are the eight children that died in the flood? Why do we only see them in the Pastor's memories Simon access?
We know now of at least four cases of alive people who can see ghosts and that have experienced the veil being "lifted up and down": Simon seeing Maddie (without any near death experience), Maddie, Xavier and the Pastor seeing the ghosts at School, Hospital and Church respectively (all had near death experiences). Why then??
What's up with the Livia plotline, like??? Get a life, are the writers going to send Maddie to fucking juvie??? Cause it sure seems Van Heidt is framing her for shooting "him" (aka Kyle's body) and Livia has the video of "Maddie" running away after hitting Xavier with a car, so...
Even if they can get Kyle's body to the hospital, Kyle back to his body and him to say that it was an accident, Maddie will still be in a tough spot so I really don't know
Not Yuri and Charley being and old maried couple arguing, I love them so much omg
And I'm glad that the resolution after Yuri's scar wasn't the end of their talks, Yuri really needed to say that it can be overwhelming to deal with Charley's actions and that he feels no space for him to be losing it
I love you, Xavier, Assistant of The Souls, I love you. Him talking with so much confidence and casually about having a two-time experience with body snatching and recovering the bodies, muah
