My partner showed me a thing that popped up in his Instagram shorts. A screenshot of a Tumblr post - because most content online is just Tumblrs reheated leftovers.
Anyway. I look at it....and realize that.....the post is made by one of my mutuals.

One of my toxic traits is the fact that as problematic as it can be, Fish upon the sky is currently my comfort show
A funny and cute headcanon that I can’t seem to get off of my mind thanks to my ask I sent to @godofame
Since Kabuto was always the quiet and shy type of child. It always baffles him when he sees another child younger or the same age as him make a scene and throw a tantrum, curse, or disrespect their parents or guardians. Since he basically was raised with little to nothing along with the other less fortunate kids and learned to work for what he wanted, he can’t see why doing that would work. Even ask them or a nearby adult questions about it, even wondering why they are being mean to their parents, siblings, or guardians.
If a kid showed any kind of spoiled and entitled behavior, he tends to avoid them as often those loud spoiled kids tend to pick on him for being poor, a “goody two-shoes” or for his “funny” glasses. And the fact that their manipulative behavior would make him question his morals about bad and good.
Like... is acting bad really going to get you the things you want or need since being and doing good and hard work doesn’t always reward you? What if being bad meant that it could do good for the orphanage or for a friend?
In the end, he still rather be good (least until he joins Root and Orochimaru) since his conscious and guilt would bother him a lot and he really doesn’t like to make people upset, especially the kind and caring adults. It also helps that he also sees that kind of behavior as embarrassing too.
He doesn’t throw a tantrum when angry or frustrated, but he actually pouts, gives you the cold shoulder (gasps!), and isolates himself from everyone. Probably cry quietly too if it’s too much for him.
@northxblue asked: How much anxious internal screaming goes on with you on a regular basis?”
Anxious Munday Meme
LMAO you have NO idea! I uh. Tend to internalize A LOT of things. And I will scream about them to myself. Whether it be happy things, feelsy things, nice compliments, my own writing if I think I did something poor in it, reading the news, catching up on One Piece (and other anime/manga) I could really go OOOOOOOON. But I think you get the idea now XD
