Kovit glanced up from his phone when he noticed a blanket being draped across his shoulders. He supposed his expression had betrayed him--he was looking at his group chat with his friends, or rather, looking at the 'PRIVATE CHAT' screen he received now that he was officially kicked out. These people were his childhood friends, his makeshift family...but he couldn't blame them for kicking him out after learning about what he was. It just...hurt.

"...Thanks," he replied as he set his phone down and decided to focus on the company he still had. Yes, he was in really deep shit right now with the whole world out to get him, but Nita wasn't exactly in paradise either. She needed some comfort too. So, before she could walk away, Kovit's lips curled into a bit of a smirk as he grabbed her wrist and--lightly--yanked her onto the bed as well.

He adjusted the blanket to wrap around her form as well, draping his arm over her shoulders to keep her close. He didn't exactly know what they were to each other, but he knew being close to her like this brought him comfort. She's been running around non-stop lately trying to enact her revenge... But maybe they could just sit together for a little while.

“Wait your my secret santa?” Niffty blurted out, pointing her index finger at the much taller goetial prince. She didn’t bother to hide her surprise at the revelation. Not that she had anything against the owl demon she just....didn’t know what to expect from present-wise at least.

With that being said, even if got her something she didn’t particularly like she would still accept it graciously because it was the polite and respectful thing to do. Especially in the presence of royalty.
