jeez it’s been a while since i was on here—

Hey!! Just in case any of you didn’t know (cuz some people are oddly enough still following me here LOL!!!) I moved over to @nycttophilic​!!

No real reason other than to fix my tags and stuff lol. Anyway, I’m over there now so come interact with me over there!!

His words saddened the elder twin... But he kept smiling nonetheless. It was a sad smile as he remembered just how much he lost when he left the Port Mafia. No. That wasn’t correct. No one would miss him, except for perhaps his twin. Mori just wanted the perfect executive. Dazai had destroyed Akutagawa’s mind and didn’t deserve to be his mentor any longer. Chuuya was surely glad he was gone.

But Ouba... He really hurt his younger brother—who he should have protected for all of their lives—, and it hurt him in a way he thought to be impossible. Not for him, he who was never human. Most everything in life he just couldn’t feel, except for this... It felt like his eyes were growing a bit wetter, like how they did when Odasaku left this world. No, this was different. This was more controlled.

And yet, it perhaps hurt even more.

“If that’s what you believe, Ouba-kun...” he said, closing his eyes as he offered a soft and solemn smile. “I can’t change your mind. But... I’ll still be here if you change it yourself.” 

Oh, how he wished he could put his thoughts into words. He had already damaged Akutagawa enough. Chuuya hated him from the beginning, is probably glad the brunette’s gone. Mori’s a terrible human being who sees his subordinates only as pawns to be discarded. He didn’t miss any of them. But Ouba... He missed him so much, it was almost too much to bear. But he couldn’t say that. He didn’t know how...

“...I guess I’ll see you around then, dear brother.”

Flung to the side, Akutagawa gasped for air and went into a coughing fit. He spat blood on the ground and wiped his mouth with his sleeve as he tried to get his bearings together. Slowly yet surely did he feel his ability return to him... Excellent. He could use Rashomon to help him stand and move about quickly.

That was the only way he would be able to fight in this condition.

He couldn’t touch him, and couldn’t allow the executive to touch him. He may pass out if he didn’t have Rashomon to do most of the moving around for him...  Most of his attacks were from Rashomon. This would be incredibly hard...

He would have to use his feet and kick him.

Rashomon wound itself tightly around its user—not quite like its Demonic Armor form, but a tiny bit similar—and pushed Ryunosuke’s limbs to make him run towards the bandaged male. He left his shoes uncovered by the ability, plus the inky dark fabric drew back from the user’s foot as he swung a kick at his mentor. Using his ability but being careful not to let him touch it...

It was the only way he could land a hit on the executive.

Eyes remained wide as she stared at the radio demon. What..?? What just happened?? At first, when her words were met with radio silence, the princess feared he was angry with her.... Fear gripped her chest as she anticipated anything, whether that be a hit or a slap or maybe acceptance...

Then, he spoke.

A game...?? None of this was a game, not to her! At first, his words hurt her and aggravated her—which showed on her face—but as he continued to speak, that anger faded into shock. He...he cared about her...?? Like he never had before in his whole existence??

She made him fall for her... She could feel her heart swell up at those words, as well as pound feverishly in the anxiety that it was just going to disappear—that he didn’t want her after all. But he continued to speak, talking about how he genuinely felt something for her... Talking about her special qualities. The things he admires about her. It... It was too good to be true. And yet, she still had the slight fear that he didn’t mean it, that he was just trying to manipulate her heart. No... This was different. This seemed genuine.

This was proven to her as he dismissed his shadows, ending the chaos he had started. He...actually listened to her. He ended his destruction, which he ever so loved, just for her. All she could do was stare up at him as she watched the shadows disappear.

But... that was it? Nothing more about the topic? He didn’t want her to tell anyone of this—she hadn’t planned on telling anyone anyway—but did that mean he wanted to brush this under the rug??

No... She didn’t want him to act like this wasn’t important. It meant the world to her... And she didn’t want to let go that easily.

“Al...” Hesitant with every step she took, she kept her hands held close to her chest to prevent herself from reaching out to him. “You... You love me..??”

That’s right... She wasn’t actually human. The weretiger nodded, trying to calm himself and make himself not so worried for the girl. she could heal quickly... In that, he supposed they were similar.

Perhaps that was just a side effect to hiding a BEAST inside...

“We should find out who are all deceased,” the weretiger answered with a swallow. The thought of dealing with dead bodies clearly made him uneasy...

“Umm... After that, we could probably get some food.” A pause, realizing the mistake he made. “S-Sorry..!! I didn’t mean...” He stammered off, panicked at the thought that she might be angry with him for that little slip up. “Umm... Is there anything you like that’s...you know...human food or something..??”

Chuuya rolled his eyes at his lover’s comment. “What d’ya think I do when I’m not on missions? Train, fight, spar, often with Ane-san or Elise. And you know they don’t go easy for shit. This stuff helps hide any bruises or shit I get from training with ‘em,” Chuuya said as he finished covering up the marks. Right as he finished up, he felt his hat being swiped right off his head.

“Tsk... Bastard...” he growled before trying to grab the hat from Dazai’s hands—but he was too quick, and too tall. Considering how Chuuya usually acted when his hat was stolen from him, he was being awfully calm about it. Teasing, even. “Heh, you look like shit,” he teased with a glare and a smirk as he grabbed the male by the collar and yanked him down to his lips, kissing him deeply one last time before they left. And while they were there... He swiped his hat back and placed it on his head.

“Comin’!!” he yelled out to Naoki when the kid called out to them again. He gave the brunette one last—flirty—smirk and glance before leaving the bedroom.

“Sorry, kid. Had to deal with some stuff,” the redhead said as he walked over to the child.

“Hmm... Sorry, lady, but I don’t really care about things like managing stuff. Sooo.... this is getting pretty boring for me. We aren’t exactly the type of people to work with others that aren’t our own. We can handle ourselves, thank you very much. Leave us alone and we’ll leave you alone, ‘kay?”

They weren’t a big organization. They weren’t anything special. Just a small organization within Japan... But they had something that most organizations couldn’t dream of having: they were a family. While they often bickered and fought with each other, they couldn’t deny that if one of them was in trouble, they would all risk their lives to save them.

Masami didn’t want some outsider thinking she could do anything for their organization. She wasn’t part of the family. She could go to hell for all they cared...

The male perked, glancing at the hellhound when he spoke. He...hadn’t really thought about that, actually. Chuuya had actually just assumed that it was normal to go get some drinks after a job, whether it was a successful one or not. But... that was a bit selfish, wasn’t it?

He couldn’t drink because of his fickle health. Well shit, that sucks... But he wasn’t about to make the male drink just because he wanted to. 

“Then...what d’you want to do then?” he asked as he set down his glass of wine. From time to time he liked to treat his subordinates a bit, and usually that meant grabbing a few drinks. But he didn’t see anything wrong with doing something different for once.

Maybe he was already a tad bit tipsy and thus more open-minded.

How strange... It was like she was saying exactly what she was thinking. Elsa didn’t know exactly what she was searching for, but something told her that it was a book of sorts...

She just wanted to learn the source of all abilities. She wanted to know why she had an ability. She wanted to learn how to control hers better... And maybe help others. 

“I...am not quite sure. I’ve heard a lot about Yokohama and the magic—ah, abilities—around here. I hoped I may find something here because of it.” She paused, setting down her cup to look at the girl before her. “...why? Do you know what I’m looking for?”

Just great. Akutagawa hated working with other people and especially hated working with an Agency members. Colleagues of his mentor whom abandoned him for a bunch of detectives... The thought made him sick with rage and envy.

But now wasn’t the time for that. He had to get this murderer taken care of so he could go back to his normal life... and not have to deal with the blond before him. 

“...fine,” he said with a “tsk”, turning to face away from the male in annoyance. “Well? You are the detective. What do we do now?” he asked without even bothering to mask his annoyance.

“The smartest person in Yokohama is Ranpo-San,” Ryu responded to the redhead. “But he’s in the Port Mafia. Second would be Poe-san, but he’s one of Ranpo-san’s ‘pets’. After that... I would have to say Dazai-san. He used to work with us, but... He was taken away...” he said, looking away as if the thought was painful to him. And it was... It was painful because there was nothing he could do. 

And he tried. So many times. 

“Maybe Mori-San can help you, but there’s only so much he can do. You can’t make enemies with the Port Mafia... They rule this city, Chuuya-San. If you’re not careful, you’ll get killed... I... I don’t want to see another one of my mentors taken away by them... Even if you aren’t the Chuuya from my world.”

Dazai watched him as he started to fall asleep. He sighed, crossing his arms over his chest as he sat down once more. What an idiot... Was he not in pain? How could he smile at a time like this? And so naturally at that...very seldom was any of Dazai’s smiles genuine. Yet Chuuya made it look so easy...

That was a very close call...and they still had no idea as to what that was. It was like he unlocked this new version of his ability, one that was terrible and destructive yet very useful when you want to destroy an area. He’ll have to keep a tab on it. Maybe Chuuya will become even more useful to him with this new power...

Unwillingly did Dazai leave the hospital room to go search for some food. He hated doing as Chuuya said as he didn’t like following orders given to him by people below him, but... Chuuya was a special case. Besides, he deserved to be treated, if only a little bit. 

He soon returned with some pretzels which he opened and sat on the table next to the hospital bed. He then sighed and sat down in the seat across from the redhead... Oh well. Might as well read now, least until he wakes up.

He smiled softly as he softly kissed her. How could he call himself a hero when his wife was truly the hero here.?? Caring so much about him, worrying about his day and wanting to make it better. Striving to make him feel better when it was she she should be happy about. He hardly did anything at all, she was the one carrying their child.

Holy crap, she’s carrying their child.

“W-Wait!! How are you feeling?? Are you okay?? Do you need me to do anything for you???” the hero stammered out, almost dropping his plate in the process.

“I’m fine...” she said, looking to her husband in response to his words. Yes, she maybe needed a break, and yes, she was so tired... But he couldn’t manage on his own. She was allowed time off with pay, but he still had to go to work. And they had twins... She couldn’t just do nothing and rest when there was so much to do. 

She wasn’t that type of person. 

“I’ll be okay... Don’t worry about me.” She could say that all she wanted, but it wouldn’t work. She knew this. Doppo would always worry about her... 

She sighed, looking back down at Zella as she leaned against her husband. “...they’re wonderful.” Too flawless for this tainted world, too perfect to come from someone as ruined as her... She wanted to protect them and make sure they never ended up like she did. She wanted them to have a chance at life that she never had...

Oh, great. Now he had an Agency member to deal with too. Angrily, the executive wondered if this day could get any worse... Not only was he stripped of his weapons and abilities, but he was stuck with the OCD guy from the ADA. 

Great. Just fucking great. 

“Of course they would kidnap us both,” the redhead seethed through gritted teeth. Every inch of him was just itching to blow this place up, but he couldn’t. It was almost suffocating him, the sheer absence of his ability...

“We’re their enemies, right.?? Killin’ two birds with one stone.” Now, they just had to get out of here... “Hey, glasses. Your ability work on any piece of paper?”
