who? @zalder what? math homework where? merrock community college when? week two of spring semester
There had to be a fucking math class. Chandler had been dreading it since he knew he signed up for his classes in the fall, but he knew if he'd tried to tackle it in that first semester back then he'd just drop out again almost immediately. Now he had invested time and money into graduation, which meant powering through this class. It was one of the easier math courses he qualified to take, which combined algebra and geometry. Algebra, he did okay with. There were letters breaking up a lot of the numbers, so if he went slow and covered up part of the problem he didn't make a ton of mistakes. But geometry? He stared at the shapes and numbers and it felt like they were staring back at him.
"Fuck." He muttered to himself, writing down some random number without showing any work. He ran his hand through his hair and glanced at the next table over in the library. There was one of his psychology classmates - Sara, if he remembered correctly? - and he tried his best to give her a smile before he stared intently at the next problem.
