“ Dear only three other fun people in this camp, here’s the rules of the Rivera version of the game, ” Adrian loudly muttered in hopes that his friends would hear. Well, he was friends with Ronnie, but the hot librarian and the not-so-new girl ? Not particularly. Alcohol did wonders for that problem, however. He shrugged and held up his drink.

“ Truths. You can ask someone a yes or no question or make a statement. If it’s true or the answer is yes, you drink. Dares. Usual rules, but you get one out where you can take two shots instead. If we all only pick dares one round, we’ve enacted a truths-only round next. Vice versa, etcetera, etcetera. Questions ? Ronnie, start us off ? ”

“ Hey, Mentor ! ” Anastasia called out from behind Veronica’s apartment door. “ I haven’t seen you lately, so I put together a care package with your favorite snacks. I asked around and I even made sure to take out that color of Starbursts you hate. Let me in ? ”
