I. 

MAYBE IT’S BECAUSE HE MISSES HER ; maybe it’s because he knows she’ll always be a part of him , but ever since arriving in Castle Town , Simon . . . well , to put it blankly - Simon often speaks aloud to himself when he’s alone. Only , he doesn’t direct his words towards himself - he directs them to Sherry. It’s normally nothing of importance ; sometimes it’s , ❝ I hope you found that funny , Sherry , ❞ or , ❝ I hope somewhere you’re happy , Sherry , ❞ or , ❝ I can hear you laughing at me , Sherry. ❞ But sometimes the pain gets exceptionally bad , and Simon finds himself curled up on his bed and staring at the wall next to him - biting his bottom lip.❝ I hope you know how much I miss you , Sherry. ❞ And sometimes - sometimes he’ll sing to himself , imagining it’s her sweet voice over his less-than-savory one , to give him the illusion that although he’d never be the same with her as he was before , she’s still here.

I. 

   — HE’S RATHER AFRAID TO ADMIT IT , but for reasons he’s still discovering , Dimitri has an intense fear of forests. The idea of being alone in the thick of a dark wood scares him , and for that reason , many rumors about the forest make him extremely uncomfortable. It’s almost like , in another life , a forest was a place where he lived his most intense of nightmares - only he couldn’t wake up from them. But he’s hesitant now to step into one , let alone by himself.

I.

SIMON HAS PARTIALLY BACKED AWAY FROM UPFRONT MUSIC for a multitude of reasons ; one , he’s simply not a musician in his life in Castle Town. Only a radio show host with a normal life. That isn’t to say that immediately bars him off from pursuing a career path in that field , but it hasn’t given him a head start. Another reason is that he’s not entirely sure if fame is something he wants again ; stan culture in both his world and now this world have shaken him to his core , despite that fact he’ll never admit so , and he’s not sure he wants to be on the receiving end again or even remotely witnessing drama involving him on the Internet. And . . . ADMITTEDLY . . . it wouldn’t be the same here. He may try it , but it won’t have the same feeling as being with Neko or ROBO_Head or . . . 

      Or . . .

II. 

UP UNTIL SKULL MOVED IN & CAME TO STAY WITH HIM , Simon had resigned himself to living alone. Firstly , he only lived with his ex-partner ( still an open connection ! ) and he’s still trying to come to terms with an entire relationship that was falsely created in Castle Town. Another thing , of course , being the connections that were already created for Simon that surrounded him - and yet because of his distrust in false memories , he couldn’t take much part in without some sort of wariness. So until Skull came along , and until Simon was reunited with those he knew in Castle Town ( & also until he forged brand new connections ) , Simon believed he’d be alone forever in this place. However , now things seemed to have turned out QUITE differently.

III. 

SIMON , AT HIS CORE , IS A GOOD PERSON. However - this is something he himself isn’t even sure of , thanks to the issues with AEsir that even had him questioning if he was actually a good man or not. For this reason , he isn’t overly fond of talking about himself - instead , he listens intently to OTHER people talk about themselves , and grows visibly uncomfortable when people pry for more information on him when he doesn’t willingly release it. There will come a time where he’s more comfortable talking about himself , but he visibly recoils & grimaces whenever people seem to show such an adamant interest in HIM. It’ll take baby steps for anyone to achieve that level of comfort with Simon , but it is doable.

I. 

ZELDA BELIEVES FULLY THAT THEIR CALLING IS MUSIC ; they’ve never really showed much interest in any other arts besides it. HOWEVER , they did try painting and drawing when they were a tad younger. This . . . this only fell through one day when they drew the most horrifying picture they’d ever seen in their entire life , never picking up their pencils again since the image was BURNED in their brain. It started out as a simple castle . . . but then it grew , it grew into an image of darkness & destruction with the most horrific spirit swirling around the castle in all of its malice & calamity. Zelda still has that drawing ; it’s been a few years , but they haven’t thrown it out , in fear that something may happen if they try and dispose of it. 

II. 

THEY WERE MORE SUSCEPTIBLE TO LOUD ARGUMENTS WITH THEIR FATHER WHEN THEY WERE YOUNGER ; not necessarily much of now , considering they don’t like to waste their breath on his idiotic closemindedness , but when they were in their mid-to-late teen years , it was prominent. There was even an instance when they ran away from home & into the woods , back before all the rumors began. And although this is merely a manifested memory instead of the truth , they have always felt a connection to the forest - there’s a tune that’s been stuck in their head ever since their first instance visiting , and it’s for that reason Zelda always feels a certain PULL to it. To get lost in it - it’s one of the reasons why they’re so adamant on finding out its secrets.

III. 

It’s not the biggest hobby of theirs , but Zelda is actually pretty good at the spot of fencing. It’s partially because of a childhood dream to always be the cool girl with the sword , and also because a thin , rapier-like fencing sabre always feels like it fits in her hand. Sometimes , they take their blade & start attacking an imaginary foe , simply because the motions come easy and they’re simply fun to act out.

I.

When they first were learning how to play guitar , they hid the instrument at Helena Vansbrough’s ( @helcouture ) house so their father wouldn’t catch on that they were disobeying his wishes & taking part in music. The very first song ( besides the normal learning songs ) they learned to play was called Everlong. It’s a bit sappy , but they often perform it at TROUBVDOUR shows.

I.

IT’S MORE SO TO HELP THEM TRY & FIND THEIR OWN SENSE OF IDENTITY , but Shiloh’s taken to trying out nearly everything they can do to see if they can manifest some talents of their own. They know they’re a little good a baking ; enough to score a job doing it. But they’re trying to find other things too , just to see if they have something they can call their own rather than still living under the impression they only exist to screw up someone else’s chain.

II.

BEFORE THEY ESSENTIALLY ‘WOKE UP’ IN CASTLE TOWN , in times of distress , Shiloh would routinely run to the lighthouse and stay there in the comfort of its shadows - watching the waves and imagining them washing over them calmly , the sound of the tides bringing them a sense of serenity. They still do , and the cliff where the lighthouse stands reminds them of sitting on the clocktower with Axel & Roxas.

III.

THIS ONE IS ALSO RATHER SMALL , but looking into their own reflection , Shiloh actually finds an odd sense of comfort - as again , Castle Town seems to recognize them as their own person and not simply of an extension as someone else. It may seem a bit narcissistic when one gets the first impression of Shiloh gazing at themselves into a mirror , but it runs deeper , reminding them that they are themselves and they can be themselves here.
