𝙿𝙰𝚁𝙸𝚂 𝙼𝙾𝚃𝙷𝙴𝚁𝙷𝙾𝚄𝚂𝙴 / 𝙿𝙻𝙴𝙰𝚂𝙴 𝙳𝙾 𝙽𝙾𝚃 𝚁𝙴𝙱𝙻𝙾𝙶
all the walls are white, the floor wooden. light pours into every room of the paris motherhouse. it is not uncommon to find members of the talamasca taking a smoke break by the balcony or out on the street. the light scent of fresh coffee fills the offices in the morning and seems to linger for most of the day. the skeleton of the building where the paris branch works is ancient but the modern furniture and decor clashes with the history witnessed by those walls.
despite their unusual line of work, most of the people inside the paris motherhouse have a certain savoir faire. a suaveness and laidback attitude that would make it hard for any outsider to ever guess they're dealing with occult and dark forces from nine to five. everything feels a bit lighter here. the power hierarchy not as strict or intimidating as those of other talamasca branches. the importance of maintaining secrecy is made clear but implemented in a simple manner: without much of a fuss. if no one is told about what they do, this talamasca motherhouse looks very much like any other parisian office.
