i really liked the idea of pharmercy as a ship until i saw how everyone on tumblr portrays their relationship as the huge violent brown woman with the small angelic one. they had so much potential until the fandom fucked it up from the start.

This is true. Like, 100% True. I genuinely could have cared less about this ship, if it weren’t for the portrayal of Fareeha and just how she Only Matters bc she’s with Mercy. That’s her sole purpose! If the fandom would have acted like Normal People and actually did their research on Egypt ( SNORTS ) I wouldn’t even be here. But no, a whole year in this fandom and nothing’s changed. And slowly I just grew to loathe the fandom and the ship all together. It’s disgusting? Like they do a Disgusting Job at portraying Fareeha. I can’t wrap my brain around their mentality. Anyway, thanks for your ask, it’s so true and I find it laughable that people would just brush these issues off as simple ‘hate’.

This is why I think the single is gonna be released on June 9th: new music is always released on fridays so that leaves June 2nd, 9th, 16th, 23rd, and 30th. Pete said that is was gonna happen the begging of June. The 30th and 23rd are considered the end, the 16th is considered the middle, so those are out. The 9th and 2nd are considered the begging. But the 2nd was yesterday and obviously nothing happened. So that leaves the only option left June 9th. It also gives them a week if they want do something with it before hand.
