Brielle Perez - Ozdemir Halloween Bloc Party
~ Barrel - A nightmare before Christmas
@heartofasoldier - fletcher location: courtyard 808 anniversary
Brielle had absolutely no doubt that despite how small and unnoticeable she could be, the older hunter had absolutely pinned her for watching him and her brother for most of the night. At best she’d hoped that it came off as a simmering distaste for Tommy, which absolutely existed at this point in time. Slipping through the throng of history buffs, Brielle broke free of the noise and glamor of it all not much further from the grand oak doors that opened out into the expansive courtyard. The same place that she’d watched him disappear to without her brother only moments before hand. Having watched Tommy break off from his friend, she knew that she probably wouldn’t get another chance, and opted to take this one - regardless of how it ended. The cooler air hit her and cast a light flush across her face as she realised how warm it’d been inside and the looming figure to her left caused her to stiffen slightly. “How long did you know?” That she’d been following him - it was obvious then, that she’d been caught with the look that Fletcher cast down at her. “Don’t judge me, I had to catch you without your boyfriend, which is impossible you know.”

In the moments that Nell declared that she’d be back with drinks, Brielle understood why she never stood still for too long. The near permanent itch within her fingertips to dig out her phone just to view the last text she’d received - a simple, see you soon, from none other than Atticus McClain, and the other, that never quite let her eyes leave the vision of Fletcher and her brother from across the room. All she had to do was catch the former alone to lay out her intentions - but doing so with her brother breathing down her neck was like pulling fingernails at this point. Maybe the fates had given her a little thought, as she took another mindless wander around the artifacts as she awaiting her best friends return, each plaque and description beneath the pieces of the past, ones that she could damn near recite. Her focus only lingered so long however, until she caught sight of the unforgettable form before her - his attention diverted indefinitely. How long had it been since she’d seen him? Too long.. It turned her stomach and briefly, she wondered whether the drink would have helped - or if she’d have just been sick on the spot from the way it turned over in her belly. “Hey stranger,” she spoke, pressing her hands against the cabinet between them, “Y’think anyone's ever thought about doing a séance in here?” Fingertips tapped at the glass and she smiled, finally taking in features she thought she might have forgotten. “Bet whatever's clinging to those daggers over there would have some serious shit to say.”

“Okay no...- no, not until I say go.” Brielle objected loudly, her hand swatting out from supporting her drink to whack his own, “Don’t cheat, it’s fucking rude.” Still, she can’t remember the last time that everything seemed to pass by without a second thought - the ease at which she existed here in this moment, free of thoughts of the storm, of Danny or her brother. Jasper - Atticus.. or anything else in between. It was easily stacked up against the plethora of reasons that the youngest Perez sought out Rami. She was guaranteed a night free of worries. “You spill any and you .... okgo!”

It was almost impossible to forget. The few short, choppy images that Brandon had managed to pull free from whatever lingered of her brothers final moments. Magic wasn’t exactly something that Brielle understood a lot of, but ever since her offering for the ritual she’d been unable to believe that anyone could help her as much as Brandon could. “I think we should try again. Tonight.”
Brielle Perez - Style
Brielle is a mess of whatever she’s picked up off her floor that morning. Somewhere between cute punk/goth, she obsessed with cute crop tops, lacy brassieres, oversized band tees worn as dressed and colored, three sizes too big cardigans. Plaid, chains and fishnet stockings will often make their appearances with whatever she’s wearing. Always paired with chunky heels or boots (gotta make up for being a shorty) or her trust all stars.

Part of her didn’t really know whether to believe it, the third counterpart to the trio being back. It certainly didn’t feel real - but the excitement in her chest at the prospect of having another one of her best friends around was difficult to ignore. Almost as difficult as the sinking feeling in her chest, understanding all too well, that not everyone would be as thrilled to see Maddison Campbell. Pushing her way through the crowd, it took her a while to find him - however, when she did, Brielle was convinced that he’d have a better time eating glass. “Alright,” she said loudly as she approached, slinging her arm around his neck and maneuvering him until he faced the door that led to the courtyard, “Let’s go figure out how to get onto this damn roof, ‘cause I’m not nearly blazed enough for this conversation and you.. you look like you need it.”

Losing another game of blackjack only did a small number on her otherwise prideful ego, the raven haired woman sinking a little lower in her chair as she downed what remained of what she was sure was meant to be a martini. The olive that spun around in the bottom of the glass not something that she would usually pick, she’d always been a bigger fan of anything sugary, but for the sake of it, she picked up the toothpick and the olive scooting from her chair. After seeing Maddie - Brielle had little doubt that Asher would need a little bit of space, however, by now she’d had enough of that idea and was adamant that she’d seek him out and find a way to pull him out of the mood he was no doubt six feet deep in. Only - body collided with body, olive fell and rolled across the floor.. and the toothpick? Direct hit to her latest colliders shoulder. “Shit, Jasper..--” His name falls from her lips in a breathless manner that doesn’t exactly coincide with the ways she’s said it in the past, and now she stands a little dumbstruck, unusually uncertain of what to say to him.
