“Reed!.. Reedy! Reedus!..” He called with each step he took into the dissipating crowd towards what he’s pretty sure is his sister. He can’t remember what she was wearing, despite the conversation he was pretty sure they’d had before arriving. Something something, underdressed, something something, heels... Heels. Check, she’s definitely wearing them. “Reedles.” Dramatically exasperated, Danny pulls himself to a stop before crashing into her, hands leveling at his hips as he fills his lungs again. “Gimme all of your chips. All of them.” Reaching out, his palm overturns and opens up to receive what he’s hoping she hasn’t blown already, “I’m gettin’ us a pony. Daphne. I’m getting Daph a pony.”

"Don't..-- don't you ever fucking do that again, Danny." She said as she flung her arms around him in a hug. As if he'd had any say in whether or not he would end out the night of Harrison's birthday party being stabbed by the shadow or not. Still, it felt necessary to say. She couldn't - not after finding Easton, suffer through losing Danny too. "Are you okay? How are you?"

"What do you mean? I absolutely could out keg-stand you." It felt like a no brainer to her, truly. Although she'd never been an over the top drinker; for someone so small, she could usually hold her own. "You bet I can't? I bet you can't even balance up there long enough, to get the nozzle in your mouth with me helping you."

The sound of the door just down the hall slamming back on it’s hinged drew him quickly to his feet, Danny’s immediate thought to rush to close it before it ripped clean off or allowed anything unsavory from outside into the lighthouse. Against the wind and rain, he heaved against the wood, almost managing to latch it when a figure somewhere out in the rain caught his eye. “Hey!” He didn’t know if anything could be heard over the storm, but whoever it was certainly wasn’t making an effort to come towards the lighthouse, “Hey! You’re almost there! Can you hear me?” Calling out against the wind felt like trying to swallow too much water and having it catch somewhere roughly in his chest. Shifting his hand to jam his palm into the space between his ribs, he lost grip of the door and watched it slam back again. 

The figure ahead grew smaller and though he knew, despite how much he’d rather be out looking for his sister - his friends, he was safer inside. Everyone was safer inside. Each step he took out into the clearing felt another ten miles away from the warmth he’d just left, and by the time he reached her, he couldn’t even see the door opening behind beyond the downpour. “Hey,” he called out loudly over the thunder and wind, “You’re going the wrong way!” Reaching out, he gently touched his hand to her shoulder, hoping not to startle her too much, “We’re not far, but you gotta’ turn around!”

Danny Bowen - Style

We are the epitome of the sniff test theory. Danny is the guy wearing shorts out while its snowing, and some kind of pants in the middle of summer (not a huge fan of jeans). A hybrid mix of surfer/skater aesthetic. He is gas station hats and sunglasses at heart. We don’t do shoelaces up in this house either - tucked in only.

“I’m just,” He shrugged, somehow moving his form a little closer to the wide open expanse of the doorway that led out into the courtyard, “Nobody can really argue against having lasers that shoot out of your eyeballs, can they? Who’s going to argue with that? Not me.. Not you, I don’t care what you say, you wouldn’t.” It was matter of fact - rhetorical, because in Danny’s mind, that was the end all be all. Lasers for eyes? “Original vampires? Sayonara! Shitty exe’s...” And finally, he came to his intended point, “Not a chance.”

“I’m just sayin’ this is a big fucking house.” The obvious, stated in a breath of bewilderment once again as he stands, dead center of the foyer and slowly turns - looking almost entirely at the ceiling. The place he share (if one could call it that) with Reed and his niece was nothing he’d ever complain about, something in the mismatched furniture and worn fabric felt like home, but shit. “I think my place could fit in this room three times over. Who needs all this space? They’re definitely hiding a lot of shit here.”
