based on: i catfished you because i’m internet famous and i’ve flown out to surprise you at your work/where you hang out a lot/ect... and you’re upset that i lied to you.
It was a bad idea, but the constant wishing to be together was making it harder and harder for Holly to just sit back when she knew that it wouldn’t be much to get on a plane and leave for a couple of days. It’s not like she hadn’t done it many times before for different conventions, or just to go hang around with another person who did what she did. Having money but not having many places to spend it was bad for her because she would do things on a whim. And maybe it was a bad idea, because the person she had been talking to was a genuinely nice person who she wanted to get to know more. But they also thought that she was some random brunette that she found on Google. For someone so famous on the internet, she wasn’t very good at covering her tracks... but, for the most part, they got along great and the other made her happy. But she had to know if what they had was real.
After trying a few places that she guessed the other could be, Holly was almost ready to give up. Maybe they had used fake pictures before.... but then her eyes fell on her. Blinking slightly, she felt the breath catch in her throat as she watched them for a few minutes. God, she couldn’t keep her eyes off them --- they looked so much better in person and she was beginning to feel insecure and alone. But it was now or never, so Holly walked up to them and tapped on their shoulder. “Hey, you... might not recognize me...” She trailed off, frowning a little and realizing how pathetic she sounded. Shaking her head a little, she adjusted the collar of her shirt and glanced around. “It’s... me. Uh, Holly. Well... you know me as Amy. I... wanted to come see you.”
