One of the most interesting aspects of psychology is how your childhood affects the way you show love to others. So... without asking for your permission, I’m going to list the love languages of my favorite trio and explain them!
Starting with Claire: she shows a strong preference for intimate physical contact, like hugging or kissing, as well as words of affirmation (such as "I love you"). This suggests a childhood where her parents rarely engaged in physical contact or offered verbal affirmation.
Then there’s Jim. Regarding those who say he never told Claire "I love you": it’s actually quite understandable. With Barbara as his mother, he clearly received plenty of words of affirmation and physical contact. We can conclude that quality time and acts of service are his love languages; after all, while Barbara gave him so much love, she wasn't truly present all the time.
Finally, Toby. The closest thing I could find to a love language for him was gift-giving, or learning so much about a person that he could almost predict their thoughts most of the time. It’s not that Nancy doesn't understand him, but because she is elderly, it’s hard to connect the way a younger, more relatable parent might, even though she shows him great love and gives everything she has, Toby often doesn't feel fully understood.
I was a little curious about the Personality type of Hirano and Kagiura!
I‘ve read a book about cognitive function and physiology facts about people’s personality a few weeks ago SOO i’ve just thought:
„why not look up Hirakagi‘s personality?“
I will be explaining everything very well and detailed so it’s easy to understand 😇 I colored the MBTI tho (if people are impatient).
Let’s start with basic information (for those who don’t know cognitive Functions)
Cognitive functions are referring to the mental processes our brains use to acquire knowledge, process information, make decisions, and interact with the world.
There are 8 functions: Extraverted & Introverted Thinking, Extroverted & Introverted Feeling, Extraverted & Introverted Sensing and Extraverted & Introverted Intuition which are organized into 4 pairs (each pair oriented of the external world [extraverted] and internal world [introverted])
Okay! Let’s start with Hirano’s personality type! 😁💛
— Dominant Function: (Te) Extraverted Thinking aka someone who focuses on the external world logically and efficiently through facts, planning & structure and goal oriented acts.
(Example: He participates in a a group project and makes sure the team hits deadline)
— Auxiliary Function: (Ni) Introverted Intuition aka someone who focuses on Internal patterns, insights, and future possibilities. Connecting ideas beneath the surface and understanding the long term consequences.
(Example: Predicting the outcome of a decision before acting)
— Tertiary Function: (Se) Extraverted Sensing. The Focus on Awareness of the present moment and reality. Sometimes less mature as they seem but develops over time.
(Example: Enjoying physical activities like playing basketball w Kagi or noticing his surroundings and the opportunities in real life)
— Inferior Function: (Fi) Introverted Feeling, someone who focuses on personal values and boundaries. Finding outcomes that sometimes speaks against their own personal beliefs or ethics.
(Example: Quietly reflecting on whether an action aligns with personal values, even if it's not practical.)
The result of those Functions would make the personality type ENTJ (Commander). Extraverted, Intuitive, Thinking and Judging (organized)
ENTJ may look "rude" at first side, but they are good at leading and helping people. Organized and disciplined. And soft for people they like.
Hirano is extroverted, he may be a bit grumpy, but he has no problems in social norms! Actually he likes it being around people. Some would say now he’s Sensing instead of Intuitive but that’s exactly it, Hirano TRIES to explain things through details and facts but that’s not working so he’s just trusting his guts now 😂. I don’t have to explain thinker… He researched the term liking… he thought there’s a contract for dating… A person who thinks all the time. And For Judging, he’s a really organized person. Yea. (there’s no explanation needed in that one too…)

Now let’s analyse Kagiura‘s Personality type! 💚😋
— Dominant Function: (Si) Introverted Sensing aka someone who focuses on past experiences and internal memories. He relies on things that have worked before and pays attention to traditions (like marriage).
(Example: Remembering his last match to make his current decision more accurate)
— Auxiliary Function: (Fe) Extraverted Feeling. The Focus lies on harmonizing with others. He picks up on their moods, needs and dynamics and makes decisions that mantain positive relationships.
(Example: He senses Hirano‘s [or any person actually] discomfort and adjusts his behavior to make them feel at their ease.)
— Tertiary Function: (Ti) Introverted Thinking aka analyzing and understanding principles through evaluating ideas objectively (like when he plays basketball).
(Example: Finding a way to solve a problem or organize a task even more efficient [like the we play a round basketball and then we‘ll learn])
— Inferior Function: (Ne) Extraverted Intuition as for exploring possibilities or future potential. Someone who "looks" for what could be but can feel pressured or uncomfortable.
(Example: He considers new ways to approach a ‚problem‘ or situation in general)
The result of those Functions would make the personality type ISFJ (Defender). Introverted, Sensing, Feeling, Judging (Organized)
ISFJ‘s are caring and loving. Sweet and detailed oriented. But also insecure about some things.
Kagiura is a ray of sunshine that for sure. But my boy IS introverted.. He doesn’t hang around with other people (other than Niibashi, Hirano and sometimes his teammates). He likes to have his few friends and that’s it. He’s a person of facts, before even knowing if he likes Hirano in that way he was down on the ground of marrying this boy. For him details are important, especially in basketball. And for Feeling… well… he’s extremely… feeling (i don’t think we need an explanation do we?). For the Judging factor, Kagi is extremely disciplined and professional when it comes to success (Basketball, staying w Hirano ect.)

ENTJ and ISFJ are computable for each other. Even if there can be potential conflicts like the bluntness of ENTJ or the sensitivity of ISFJ they balance each other out building a strong team! (Fits to them doesn’t it?)
