her mind is only darkness, though she desperately claws at the flickers of light, trying to pull herself out of the depths. eyelids flicker, lashes fluttering briefly, before she succumbs again to the pull - the weight of consciousness too heavy for her to bear. alabaster skin is paler than usual, marred by freshly forming bruises, blood saturating her dress staining it crimson.

the alley outside soul creation is empty now. scarcely lit and darkening still as night draws nearer. if she cannot wake, if she cannot open her eyes...she is too vulnerable, too exposed. her attacker may not be the only demon angered by her actions. there may be another that returns to finish the job.

will her mother mourn her ?? will her brother grieve ?? will there be anything left of her to find ??
