Delving straight into the crowds of humanity, Chara can’t say what they expected-- it certainly wasn’t this. Kept almost sheltered from the waves of people was a violet pillar, or in simpler terms, there was a strange girl standing in the middle of the boardwalk, arms wide out, unmoving. What disturbed them even more was the lack of comment from anyone else in this god forsaken area. Here they stood, a child bitter towards humanity, having to be the only one to comment on it. Lovely!
Did she even notice them there? If they hadn’t been so subtle to notice her blinking, Chara could’ve thought she was dead. Or something. Crossed arms showed both their hesitance to speak and their utter disbelief at this situation. Sadly, standing in front of a T-posing theatre kid is somehow better than weaving around people in this place. What can they even say to her? ‘Get out of the way?’ That isn’t going to get them any answers. And goodness, do they seriously want an explanation to the absolute happening that is in front of them.
“...Please. Explain why you’re standing like this in the middle of the road.” It was obvious in their voice they were equal parts nervous to speak and absolutely at a loss for words. A very, very faint forced smile at least accompanied their features, so they’re at least attempting (very, very weakly) to alleviate this situation. But now that they’ve spoke, there’s no going back. They talked to the tree. They can’t escape now.
