he hates these drivers parades and just about everything media and pr related leading into the race. there’s too many people, so much happening and various stupid questions being thrown his way that will no doubt be twisted and posted online somewhere for a few lousy rumours to spread. he lets out a sigh, pulling his sunglasses down over his eyes and trying his best to ignore everything going on. kimi wasn’t friends with many people — he didn’t talk to many people either, not even previous teammates got along with him like all the others do. he had about one close friend and that was it, but he was too busy chatting away at the other end of the bus so instead kimi stood there silent as ever .
5, maybe 10 minutes pass and it feels like a lifetime. finally kimi goes to turn around and face away until he’s met with the redbull driver right next to his side — and he’s probably standing a little too close. “ sorry. ” it’s the first word he’s uttered out in goodness knows how long “ my bad ” his accent is thick, voice quiet and slightly awkward as the finn moves out of the way. as if this parade couldn’t get any worse? first it’s nonstop media and now it’s completely invade someone’s personal space and make it awkward
