the presence of Set was a cursed existence marked first by prophecy with he and his siblings at the center. everyone knows of the prophecy foretelling the doom of Ra at the hands of one of them. Ra forbade Nut from giving birth on any day of the year to her already gestating children. this lasted months before she grew tired of it. Nut bet with Khonsu over moonlight and won five days worth of it from it. using the moonlight, she crafted the last week of December known as the Demon Days in which to give birth. it was always assumed the one to do it would be Set. why wouldn't it be, right? however, Set has always been the one of all his siblings to be the most loyal to Ra. in actuality, the ones who presented the most threat to Ra were Isis and Osiris themselves. Isis — poisoning the sun for power. Osiris for listening to her when she said he should fight Ra for the kingship , absolutely skipping over Set , who he'd chosen as his heir. in true fashion , this angered Set for Isis’ underhanded tactic that almost destroyed the entirety of existence and Osiris for being the pushover he was. for taking what was his by right , he performed an act that goes against the commandments shared between mortal and God alike. Set killed his brother ( both actually , but the killing of Horus the Elder was for all intents a rivalry as they'd fought since they were small and only Horus the Elder was his match ) commiting both fratricide and regicide. though he was never convicted of either deaths legally , it's known that he shares a marked existence — a cursed one. to kill one's own family is a very big no no. no matter the reason: righteous or otherwise.
and so we come to the crux of his issues with his siblings entirely , they're vain , greedy , and willing to drag every last one of them down for power. did he kill Osiris because he wanted the kingship , or because it would hurt Isis the most? he killed him for vengeance , but was it over power? that is definitely a facet , but absolutely not the biggest one. Isis as the goddess of marriage and motherhood could only be hurt the worst for her part played by killing her husband and taking from her the chance to have children with him. he knows her very well , as they share more aspects of personality between them than any of their other siblings. she hated him so much , because they were alike. had he been the one to snatch away her husband's crown as such , she'd have killed him , too. however , Isis has always been and always will be a gilded dagger: the beauty of it often obscures the lethal potential of its blade , and it is on purpose. the only reason they all hated him was because he didn't parade under a false golden light of mercy while his foot was on their neck. though he may be mischief incarnate and chaos given form , he isn't given to lying directly for no reason.
no one is surprised that Isis used everything she had to hide away her son, called back from the beyond Horus the Elder answered her plea for vengeance and out came Horus the Younger. a much weaker version that when the time came for vengeance , needed his mother to lie and cheat for him during their contests for the throne. it took years and many , many clashes of which Isis never failed to cheat and lie. it took the both of them several times to defeat him and even then it was by the skin of their teeth that they did. Set served his sentence aboard the barge of Ra willingly. at night , he protected the god from Apep and he did so without complaint. when it came time for his sentence to be up , he chose a self-imposed exile from Egypt and left to explore ( terrorize ) the other pantheons. and he's stayed away ever since , until it came time to defeat Apep. he set aside his rivalry with Horus and they forgave one another to accomplish it.
it was after this that Isis sprang her plan. Set never believe a moment that she'd forgiven him or that she'd stop. they had the same dogged sort of temperament, didn't they? he resigned himself to that fate she decided for him. though he was the least likely suspect in his own eyes for being the one to fulfill the prophecy , it didn't excuse him as a potential threat. it's this reason that he went willingly into her trap and was ensnared in her curse. she cursed him at the source. the source itself is the very first dimension of existence spring up from Ra. the Egyptians believed there were multiple dimensions housing several versions of events and of them that rarely stray from the very large events in their timelines , but sometimes they do. they're created in the blink of an eye for eternity. and she found where it all started. Isis twisted his destiny , his soul , his existence into a tyet knot. in doing so , she made sure to weaken him and to bind Shai into making his rebirth impossible. as time went on , Set kept weakening and weakening with each birthed universe. as a child of the line of Ra , rebirth is incredibly important to them. it's a renewal of their spirit and their physical forms even.
she planned to erase him entirely , and Set accepted that as his fate. it is the culmination of his wrongs , he supposed. what she and no could have known is that to erase Set is to give Apep the edge he needed to begin to win their conflicts. without Set , they weren't enough to kill Apep in the end. yes , Horus the Young is never a thing and Horus the Elder is there in his place as is Osiris , but even that doesn't tip the scales, only a god of Destruction or of a similar function may destroy the essence of a god ( they can take on or absorb the function of it , which Set has never done he's always just destroyed him ). by destroying Apep in his essence do they vanquish him. and as Rikala once recounted , only Set is mighty enough to vanquish Apep.
here comes Ra, Ma’at, Thoth, and Shai with the plan to stop it. the only way they could field Isis’ revenge is to wait until Set is at his weakest and his binds break as he's almost completely destroyed and take the last little bit of his soul. Ra formed him into a sparkle and set him in her eye, making him the apple of her eye at her source. as he gained strength there in her eye , he was turned to mist in her eye and the tears rained onto her womb. as it came to be , the spirit clung to it and was eventually birthed in a single existence , just one as Set was far too weak to be born again. as it came to be , it was one of the existences that had already been won. in her reincarnation , she birthed Saint. as a goddess of childbirth and motherhood , she is almost obligated to love her children. it's her entire function and , as such , it was their plan from the beginning. it was on purpose the vessel gifted was cleaved open at the heart , a vessel of bone and marrow and forgiveness gifted a destiny of a healing spirit. inside of Saint was the ability to heal and strengthen a godsoul , and as such , he is the lamb to be sacrificed. it's no question that he was made with the intent to live long enough to complete this destiny of his and that he would perish after. given the blessings of Ra , he grew impervious to physical pain , a constitution of strength , and couldn't die. he was a puppet moving and existing for exactly one purpose and one purpose only: to deter her as the son of Isis and to heal Set. he's to give his very marrow , his energy , his spirit to nurture Set.
the price was Saint's sanity. for all of the first part of his story , he spent it suffering and tortured and TIRED. endlessly , endlessly tired. every single drop of his energy went to Set and survival. in this family of his he was born into , blessed by the gods and gifted magic — he is a bit of an outlier. the spark of his divinity is smothered and so , it was believed he had very little magic to speak of. he had no affinity other than the one gifted him through the blessings of Ra. his fire affinity and the loyalty of Hawks is largely all he could use. it wasn't until his mother Celina , the reincarnation of Isis , gifted him the blessings of Isis. through her paranoia for his fate ( she'd long since realized she couldn't kill her son and through his forgiving nature couldn't bring herself to truly harm him — she's tried ) , she's blessed him with the waters of the moon. in an attempt to ease his pain and his madness , she offered him clarity through his third eye. it drove him to another form of madness the visions of the past and the present , sometimes when he had enough energy , of the future. these eyes of his see passed the veil into the darkness and the obscure gifting him the sight of spirits , the gods , and even chaos itself as it's drawn to him by his own nature.
the only thing to cure his descent into madness was the awakening of Set himself. before his awakening , Set often dreamed through his eyes and in dreaming of him came to live in his heart and his mind. it was as he awakened that another Set was finally born in a new universe , a return to normalcy and the order of things followed. the new Set grew curious of his very strange reincarnation. the reincarnations of the gods are but pieces of the whole that are influenced and are not allowed to influence the source. they're pebbles in the ocean that is the whole , but Saint is made directly from their source. in a way , he is no true reincarnation , he's more akin to a strange little reflection. in a way , he is what Isis is to Celina. a reincarnation is given life from their godsoul and bathes in its life energy and its light to be born at all from them. it's a relationship akin to a worshiper blessed with a fragment of their god. it's very personal for obvious reasons.
it's through his awakening that Saint gained back all that energy and magic that had been redirected elsewhere. and in the influx , he came into his own affinity: Isfet / chaos. through his shadow , Set’s watched and interacted with his reincarnation. Its interesting watching them do something different for a change — to nurture rather than destroy is something Set himself couldn't truly do. and so , they grew to be fairly close through conversation and exposure. with this came the decision to subvert prophecy permanently through Saint. by having them both join , they could become a new entity and subvert not only his cursed nature , but the doom flags that he shares with his siblings. that , and Set would enjoy separating himself from the others in essence.
but the Egyptian gods aren't like the other pantheons , there doesn't truly exist the concept of demigods or mortals becoming Gods. only in the sense of the pharaohs or kings having already been divine aspects of Horus in life and Osiris in death. what he desires isn't necessarily just something that's possible. though he shared Set’s soul , he would likely completely disappear on death unlike the reincarnations that would rejoin their larger half. the soul of Set inside of Saint would rejoin Set and the concept of Saint himself would just disappear like a god without a belief center might.
as such , they needed alternate routes , so what happened? they crossed over into other realms. as Seth-Typhon , an aspect of both Typhon and Set , he wondered if by crossing over they could perform these things another way to a necessary point as Ra likely could never recognize even a most beloved thing without his own divinity. he needed something separate enough from Set to gain it. and so , they crossed dimensions together to find pieces of shattered divinity scattered between realms and in other pantheons if need be.
it was here that he gifted Saint the strength of Set and the actual Eye of Horus — the one he took from him during the battle — to which he swallowed. When he ate it , as a son of Isis , he gained a portion of Horus’ golden destiny. the same gold that Set once ruled over reemerged and called to Horus-Ares. Ares , who knew fear , and Horus , who knew nothing save contempt grew angry at the typhonic beast. it was Saint who talked the god into halting his sword. the two talked for three days and three nights to come to an understanding with his golden tongue , as the god called it. as he spoke , he exuded the once charismatic nature of Set and shined a red-gold light that convinced the god to hand over the unused , broken divinity within himself that was Ares-Anhur.
in giving him this , Seth-Typhon decided he would allow him to leave instead of resorting to violence ( as neither he nor Seth-Typhon had resolved their differences in this dimension just yet ). the two of them traveled the world collecting these pieces of divinity from all the forgotten fragments of the different aspects of gods and those that had fallen into nothing but these sparks of divine nature. in between their searching , Saint traveled the world performing feats.

Urro Sairdir, the Hungry is an eight headed dragon with five stomachs to each head and a breath said to regurgitate the flammable acid from its hungry stomachs and fire from its rising fumes. the extreme heat of its breath created a gaseous swamp known as the The Bowels of Nivershall Glades. as he couldn't wield the Was-Sceptre of Set even blessed with a strength that far exceeded his natural ability to lift a ton , said to weight over 4,500 pounds , he had to use the spear of Ares-Anhur which had lost its name and much of its power. they fought up and over the upper half of the world to the catatumbo river below. the spear split in the middle heads gullet and Saint had to battle Sairdir barehanded. overtaken with the bloodfury mid battle , the isfet called to his fingertips spoke his words into lightning and the sounds of his fists striking the dragon echoes resounding in thunderous cacophony. the dragon's fetid body smoked and its blood continually sparked storm after storm under the echoes of the storm forming the Catatumbo Lightning , meaning “the house of thunder”. from this battle , he opened up the throat of the dragon's middle head to retrieve the pieces of his broken spear only for it to emerge bisected into a bident and whole.
the bident he named “Illumina” is known to be cursed with soul siphon and an immeasurable hunger tamed quite literally only at the hands of Saint as his spirit had been created to support both himself and a god almost entirely. only he can sate the bidents sinister hunger pangs that sound like volatile thunder loud enough to shake the ground and even form broken ground under it. in an act of foreshadowing , the Bident is duel natured cursed with a destructive and forever hungry nature raining acid rain and poisonous clouds of thunder. it's blessed with the form of a Was-Staff, which is the symbol of Set and power over chaos; by turning the bident upside down , the bident side grew into small forks and the other side horned like the head of Set with ears and snout. the Sceptre side is blessed with the aspect of the Savior, quintessence emanation in the energy it can generate through his metabolism treating his body as its own spark of energy , and the Sky bearer attribute, which gives the staff the ability to be as weightless as air and as heavy as the weight of the sky. the aspect of the Savior grants the staff in conjunction with Sky Bearer the ability of self-generated solar wind , acting as a star with its own corona as hot as the flames of peace. in Saint's hands , the geomagnetic storm potential is enhanced through the use of Isfet magic. as a light on its own , Saint dubbed it Illumina even if it was a herald of destruction as well as the light of stars.
the echoes of their battle forever awakens blasts of thunder and endless chains of lightning that paint the area in endless cycle. it's even said that to be near is to see their forms battling in between the flashes of light.

there is one feat unmighty and non-violent as Saint visiting his mother's godly incarnation with eyes that never left her in all her splendor. though he deduced she couldn't look at him for the anger and hatred inside her for Set , she glared through their talk at the god behind him. he told her that he was only there in case she turned violent against Saint. the reincarnation couldn't necessarily impact the thoughts of the whole and by coming here , he may be damning himself before the goddess. as he did with Horus , they spoke tight-lipped on her part about whether or not she knew were some broken pieces may be obscuring themselves. she spoke only enough to give them clue that she did know , but never truly enough to help. it was in Saint's lowered eyes as she refused to give him a single glance the entirety of their conversation and begrudgingly gave him the possible locations of a few , that she told Set she wouldn't have ever hurt him , but that she could hurt Set. she said he always was an arrogant asshole that thought himself untouchable. the only thing that Set said in return was that she was already hurting the only open heart in this room and he pushed Saint before he could deny it. it was his tears that made the moon goddess draw near to swipe away his tears. finally , he saw the guilt there in her eyes — not for what she'd done to Set , but how it seemed to be destroying Saint. and on the banks of her river , she shined a pure white light and he a soft red one that cast a soft , very fragile pure light into the distance.
the phenomenon was observed as a moonbow. and it shines on nights when a bright red star is lowering on the horizon in misty , red light casting fractals of light both red and white. it's a sign of true , ugly guilt and a pact of limitless forgiveness and it lives in the glisten of Saint's eye , shared guilt and forgiveness. it paints the light that shines off his eyes in soft bows of milky white and/or red and a myriad of color or often just a very faint blue at the right angle. while it is forgiveness , it isn't necessary total acceptance , but it's better than either had expected.

collecting all the pieces of broken divinity added to his own spark away from and untouched by Set , Saint was gifted the pieces of the old Set that are broken and now a shade unusable: the things taken from him by Horus that fall into disuse. more importantly , he hands him Inanna and the piece of broken divinity that spoke of him as the son of Ra. he devoured the shard of Inanna earning her title of usurper , as she's always been known to usurp gods ( temples , abilities , functions ) , and her title of nin-an-ak , the lady of heaven. as Isis is her equivalent and he is born of her flesh , the shard bonded with him in a way the others only barely could. he devoured and took in her essence and gained the title of God Eater , and this through him , rebirth. holding the shard of the son of Ra in his pocket , the pair approached Ra before the court and asked to be obliged to one request: to be born anew of Ra. though he could have asked any mother goddess if they would nurture the two of them into a new fruition , most women would likely do so in the hopes being the mother of Set would stay his destructive rage upon them or in Tawaret’s case she would likely just do it out of kindness. Saint could have asked Isis as no matter what she does he'll always bear the signs of being Isis born , but . . . perhaps , it was best to sever some of those bonds since she couldn't accept him. however , they've always been laid at the feet of the most high sun with utter reverence and love for their grandparent in whatever form they take.
Ra told him that he would oblige him , if it were possible. Saint held out the broken shard with the essence of Ra soaked into the very edges and well loved despite it's broke appearance. the little divine before her brought nothing short of love into her heart and in the blink of an eye her belly grew round with the waters of birth. Saint ate the last piece. Saint and Set merged. while they were still in the process of intertwining , Ra grabbed the essence and the energy into her body. the uniqueness of their birth caused Ra to be pregnant three entire days , which was far beyond the time it often took to birth for her. once they were born , they grew rapidly into an adult form.

the plan upon merging with Saint was to subvert the looming prophecy over Set’s head that foretells he or one of his siblings would bring about the destruction of the entire universe. by doing this , Set is able to give his essence and his godhood to Saint and the two form into a new being with Saint taking the reins as it was never his potential nor his destiny. the new being formed took most if not all of its traits both physically and mentally from Saint and just enough from Set himself. as such , the god forged takes on most of Saint's characteristics and his very dramatic flair. the much more delicate beauty to Set’s very severe , very sharp face is apparent in the lips and the eyes.
the separation between the two lay lines present in his being is that he is of two often very distinct sides: the beastly and grim visage of war and destruction and the beautiful and lovely face of love, rebirth, and fertility.
the beastly and grim face of war and destruction represents the violent, volatile, and harshness of both his abilities and his personality. as such , it is the armored countenance of severity and control of the chaos. while the beautiful and lovely face of rebirth and fertility is the lovely, giving, and often welcoming of the chaotic freedom of their abilities and their personality. it's been erroneously thought that when he appears at his most beautiful , most soft, that it's this aspect specifically in control when really the lines are very , very faded and incredibly thin. in all honesty , there is no line at all. it just appears that way given that he doesn't always appear armored and vicious and when he typically doesn't he's out watering the fields with rain. it's a lie that he hasn't denied nor has he encouraged , but it does help everyone's perception of him. the other gods relax in his presence when they believe the sweet , harmlessly mischievous Saint to be in control.
on the other side , it makes them nervous to think Set is lurking behind their eyes and that when they don armor it speaks of Set’s influence; it speaks of destruction and chaos. they're fools to think that Set and Saint aren't entirely homogeneous — that when he's unarmed that isn't capable of great horror as he is in armor. if anything , they're in greater danger due to the temperament of this side they think exists. how quick he's able to snap and they're being encased in red magic , being drained of their energy. the unpredictability of the god outside of their orderly , often calm mindset of a general should be feared far more. it's in this “form” that chaos has a face and it's beautiful.
in an effort to appear less intimidating , Saint's armor often transforms into whatever he wants at any given time. he's taken to wearing more desert-dweller garb or a bedlah, the egyptian word for “suit” and typically worn by belly dancers, as the god of the desert. there are often times only silk itself is draped over his form floating to cover all his bits and jewelry , especially the jewelry over his pierced nipples. Saint is given to wearing gold as Gold is a symbol of Set. he is expressed in ‘gold’ because of his association with the cult center Nubt, the City of Gold. red and gold are the colors of Set and he's often wearing some variation of them. though , he doesn't always.
there is a constant halo of an infernal crown floating in intricate pieces above his head — the rays of the sun in twisted metal and gnarled floating pieces soaked in red light and horned to a point at his forehead. often it blooms with middle mist reds in pale pink, pink, and a deep pink that looks very much red and gardenias with little lily of the valley's of all colors hanging from the very bottom of his floating crown. sometimes it's just roses and gladiolus and vines dangling down. others it's lavender, strawberries, blueberries with little orange and pink plumeria. it depends on what Saint is feeling , because an upset Saint will grow black roses and tansies and petunias and the arrangement is entirely very ugly , which kind of makes him even more angry. how dare you. often one can tell his moods based on the flowers present and blooming in his presence.
the body of Saint is often surrounded by clouds of differing thickness and design. they do form into shapes and they do rain. often they'll storm and spit shots of red lightning at random. there is always wind generated that flows his hair about and his little clothes around , you'll always hear Saint before you'll ever see him. the twinkling of the small star chimes in his hair make plenty of diaphanous and dynamic noise. the train he leaves behind his footsteps is often random. sometimes flowers grow under his feet, sometimes the ground turns into obsidian, sometimes stardust falls in his wake, sometimes it's random little things that never quite line up, because Saint leaves echoes of chaos wherever he goes. however , there is always a star following him, in his hair, or on his horned crown somewhere.
Saint's armor is often the epitome of a useless looking thing that should protect very little. in reality , armor is often useless against the gods from me to you. it's as much a symbol as the useless light shows are. as such , Saint has decided that his armor most of the time is flimsy things for show that would get any man killed with all the gaps and open chest , skin tight and nothing but startlingly bright and beautiful deep red and gold. as likely as it is for him to come in full gear , it's even more likely for him to come almost completely naked or in the scant amount of his armor he feels like putting on. though it can be his god of war aura that still makes him appear intimidating in it , so he often colors it ridiculously or puts little hearts, flowers, stars on his weapons and his gauntlets. does it work? who knows. when he's angry, focused, or serious, the armor will shade black with little more than red over the plated , full armor. the paint on his face is a deep red like a gash of claws with dots and lines in very intricate and intimidating lines.

Saint is for all intents and purposes not very supernaturally beautiful. there's no sense of always being attractive whether it fits a person's tastes or not. is he lackluster to just about any other god? yes, absolutely. is he ugly? if he's to your taste, no. this doesn't effect his lust inducement or his pheromone releasing as one can be sexually attracted to someone and not think they're beautiful.

there is no good or bad way to be a god. though there are shared traits and themes , no god can ever encapsulate the same exact traits. Set in and of himself is a god of contradictions. to be the god of chaos as well as to uphold order is very strange and antithetical of one another. Saint himself is of no difference. the freedom that chaos allows him is tremendous. As a god , Saint will always be able to change and grow even. as such his divinity is a revolving door swinging as it pleases. in just a couple of centuries , he could drop an aspect and pick up another. there are few that cannot be changed: chaos, storms, and strength. as almost the entire pantheon is considered a god of war, it wouldn't be entirely out of the way for him to subtly drop it and still technically be one.
as one of the oldest living gods dating back to prehistoric Egypt , as a god likely entirely foreign at his core , he has a lot of spheres of influence picked up over the years and some that are attached to Saint ONLY. seeing as Set allowed him to absorb the divinity he held from Ashtarte, his wife, before they were merged , he's taken on aspects of her divine. the sphere and love and lust and war are tied to Saint like storms and chaos are. Saint is the wife of Set — he is his own wife. the two are able to conceive inside their own body without outside influence. to say he's in love with himself is not a lie in the slightest and such harmonious love inside their shared existence within their body is reflected without.
they are both the Lord and the Lady in this sense , meaning they occupy both spheres of their influences in their respective pantheon. it's , also , the only way to circumvent the rule of thumb of two and pairs in Egyptian mythology. In Egyptian mythology , a singular god shouldn't exist by itself. and by ascending the way they did , they have two very different and distinct presences and destiny. it's in using this , that Set hopes to circumvent prophecy without a repeat of the travesty that occured when Isis cursed him. by doing this , they can field some of the attempts of worshipers and followers to want to embroil them again in the mess that is Set’s brother and sisters. by doing this , there need not be a tie drawing him into other larger dynamics between other gods until they can establish themselves as not to drown out Set over Saint.

𝘚𝘦𝘵𝘦𝘴𝘩 𝘕𝘪𝘯𝘴𝘪𝘢𝘯𝘯𝘢 ( sometimes called 𝘚𝘦𝘵𝘦𝘴𝘩 𝘈𝘮𝘢 ( “mother in the sense of authority like queen mother is” ) ) : in the evening , the mother aspect is more apparent. as it stands this part of the day changes his headdress to a sun disk and a crescent moon. there is a greater light coming from the sun disk and so it has more emphasis. the beauty of youth is tempered under the hand of the mother. the healing and medicinal nature of his rains and his hands in the soil make him the aspect of the healing mother. his plants grown from the earth can be used to cure many poisons and his magic is said to be able to heal just about any ailment and wound ( as well as exorcism aka cleansing ). his light is said to ward off demons. unfortunately , in duality , he is also invoked in curses to bring malady and sickness to others. the association of a life-giving mother and abundance, gives him the soft touch of a mother known to soothe and calm. in many ways , the evening is represented by open waters. he soothes the waves for mariners and the cleansing waters. in this form only , dolphins may be associated with her. the clouds often become seafoam and brine. as such , pearls, coral, sea stars, Nymphaea lotus, and sea vines often accompany his floating crown. she represents the warm , often hot , winds over land and sea.
𝘚𝘦𝘵𝘦𝘬𝘩 𝘕𝘪𝘯𝘪𝘯𝘵𝘪𝘯𝘢 ( sometimes called Beltu “mistress” Setekh ) : on the Lord side of things , the night form itself is the darker , more volatile and malevolent red light. represented by the set animal , known as a Sha ( which in and of itself looked and was all these things jackal, a fennec fox, an African wild dog, a wolf, hyena, saluki dog, ect . . . ); the Was-Sceptre; hippo ( bc before Nepthys he was married to Taweret at one time ); a crocodile; a tortoise, a griffin; and wild beasts. as the god of the night , in this form there is a sinister sort of seriousness to him. the curtain of night shrouds his face in veils and a headdress diadem stripped of nothing but silver and the sun disk and crescent moon with the crescent moon dim into red, red rays swirling and twisting behind his head. there is nothing but obscurity to this form as his name becomes shrouded in mystery and armored in the dark plates of the night. the brightest thing that can be seen are the red of his eyes piercing through the darkness like two holes in the chaos. this form is volatile and the most likely to do and cause the kind of chaos that could spell very bad news for the cosmos itself. to curb his tendencies , he is considered a god of the underworld and his main job is to guard Ra on the waters from any threat and to hunt down any soul trying to escape its fate. there is , also , a passing connection to him and dreams. he represents the torrid , ice cold winds of the chaotic storm.
one should know that there are even location based aspects , out in the ocean Saint assumes the full characteristics of the evening at all times. however , the war and storm aspect do not decline. If anything , his fierceness out in the ocean is far , far more apparent. in the desert , he is the oasis and the reprieve making him the protector of those traveling through the deserts.

as the worship for Set became scattered and lost , his vilified nature made public worship plummet. people ransacked his temples , scratched his names off of walls and cartouches , the pharaohs often distanced themselves from him , and the people began to see him as less than he was. many myths began to crop up of gods having dominion and authority over him ( chaos ) and even gods of no particular strength were given stories of having beaten him back or beaten him off. all of which the god in question was far too afraid of him to ever try to actually impact or enforce , such as it being said that Anubis himself beat Set for trying to come to graveyards and desecrate the dead. why ever mortal think he hangs out in graveyards , he'll never understand. as such his temples have all been ransacked and broken down to nothing. though he couldn't truly be pushed to the outside truly , no matter what's been done he's always been one of the bigger gods even among the Pharaohs.
in contrast , Saint going through his labors slaying the fetid dragon Sairdir, the sea monster Kitsi Zela Lli , the taming of the evil hippopotamus god and goddess Metni and Ahti, his battle with the sea god Yam , and the seduction of Osiris disguised as Nepthys. bringing the rains over the earth adorned in flowers and thunder , he grew followers first with being known as he who waters the earth. as he began to protect and slay monster after monster , he began to be worshiped as a protector with a playful nature. typically , he's worshiped by sailors , the poor & SOMETIMES the pious wealthy , farmers , doctors , warriors , hunters , and temple priests who fight and exorcize demons and malicious spirits. thieves and pirates sometimes pray to him for a good haul and to find many riches on their journeys. however , these fools often pray in the middle of acts he can't overlook or condone such as grave robbing , which he often looks to with context versus the other gods who don't condone it at all.
his temples are seen as places of refuge from disease , a place to learn traditional medicine and shamanistic healing , a place to find oneself , find sexual freedom and expression , pray to him for rain or plenty or healing , and a place of healing the spirit and the body. his priests are trained in medicine , cleansing & exorcism , and are very , very good warriors. his temples are beautiful places made entirely to soothe the pressures of the day , and so it's often targets of bandits and thieves. as the god of divine retribution , he's very unkind to these thieves stealing from him.
his offerings largely consist of flowers , gold , rubies , lavender and cinnamon , paintings of him from their dreams , fans , berries , figs , and the broken weapons that served warriors to the very end.

𝘠𝘈𝘔: as Set himself defeated the sea god yam in place of the Canaanite king of the gods , Saint himself was drawn into his age-old hatred. under the belief he could get back at Set by kidnapping the little mortal following him around , only to get a nasty surprise in the form of Illumina’s bident form in which its great hunger ate the seas as it began to flood up onto the lands. he and the bident grew gigantic to the point that all the water itself was entirely swallowed and the earth struck by violent strikes of lightning charged up like molton plasma. Saint threw him to the heavens and entrapped him in a cage of Isfet magic, where he proceeded to squeeze every single drop of moisture from his being for 5 days until all the water in the world was replaced. when he found it time to shrink , he stored all the waters of the world in Illumina and returned to size. with him Yam grew smaller to comparative size in the cage. the cage size of a peach was attached to his belt and is squeezed whenever he requires water. Saint'll release him when he sees fit to.
𝘐𝘚𝘐𝘚: though she may have forgiven him for him specifically , it can be said there is a strange rivalry developed between them in the same way a mother develops one with their daughters. it's a teeth grinding grudge and a slight hatred toward him for trying to usurp her position as queen of the heavens with he approval of Ra behind him in bitter contrast to the times before when Set was known as the “chosen of Ra” and, in her eyes, he took what was supposed to be her husband's — his place as heir. no matter how she schemed or stirred up trouble between the gods and the public sentiment grew in favor of noble Osiris , Ra never changed his mind on having Set be his heir. and now , she has to watch her offspring leech away her influence, her followers, and her powers all because she gave birth to him. a part of her is proud of her Saint for reaching for what should be his even if it's to better protect Ra from her , but it does rub her raw to see a young god made of her essence snatch away the things that matter to her.
𝘏𝘖𝘙𝘜𝘚: there is a strange liminal space between the two of them. there is a hostility from Horus that suggests he isn't ready or can't quite forgive him or Set. or , perhaps , it's more difficult and complex than that. Set largely treats Horus as someone very important in the long run. he often comments on the fact that he misses The Elder and how they used to battle. it's implied that he doesn't respect The Younger half as much as he did his brother and alludes to the fact that he likely wouldn't have fought him at all if not for Isis and pulling him back into their conflict as her progeny of vengeance. unfortunately , Horus and Saint share far too many connecting points for either of them to adopt the same indifference to one another.

Saint took up the duty he once had before he was cursed and deposed by Horus as both the right hand man of Ra and the arbiter of divine justice. unlike the eye of Ra , he may go out and deal justice as he sees fit of both small and large magnitudes with distinction. often in the form of the mistress ( or the Lord ) , he descends into the duat to protect Ra’s boat as it makes its journey across the sky. and when Apep has been vanquished , he descends to guard the gates of the duat of wayward tricky souls trying to run from their fate and Daemons. he often has to fight the urge to devour the bones of A pep that call to him every night in a bid to take on his powers and . . . be swayed into corruption. there is no telling what would happen should he give in and he doesn't really want to find out. or when it's quiet , he'll sleep.
in the morning and part of the noon , Setesh Ninanna rises as soon as the morning hits to get ready for the day. the morning consists of preparing his beautiful skin for the day, choosing his outfit as well as what flower arrangements they desire, and putting on his wig. to choose what color hair and style he desires that day. this form is gluttonous and eats like they're starving at all times , preparing to put out such heat and light that they often dazzle the room they're in bright red-violet light. he's very bubbly and open and seemingly very kind. in reality , he's most likely to sneak off to go cause trouble somewhere nice.
in the last part of the noon and the evening , Setesh Ninsianna / Ama hears prayers and grants the more dire ones often very quickly. he splits his time between healing the sick and the hurt with his time in the Golden Cascade , his oasis garden paradise that his followers sometimes pray to be allowed into. as a one time mortal , he is the most likely to allow mortals to become his attendants and help to care for him and the oasis. the pilgrimage is harsh and unkind , so those that make it don't turn into desert wraiths and aghoul/a.

𝘚𝘵𝘰𝘳𝘮 𝘊𝘢𝘭𝘭𝘪𝘯𝘨: his storms are violent and ravenous , raging like an untamed dragon in the skies. Contrary to belief , he spends his concentration on dialing a storm back rather than amping one up. He says it's akin to unlocking the door on a tiger's cage and pushing the door closed with your shoulder while it swipes and pushes at you. If he loses control , the storm will rage unchecked and grow to the point that most things cannot survive the harsh winds. it's a common misconception that he's limited to a traditional storm and he isn't. as he's a desert dwelling god , he's very likely to create sandstorms and dust devils. however , Saint is able to create storms of all kinds: tornados , winter storms , hailstorms , blizzards , hurricanes , ice storms , Derecho , and geomagnetic storms. he can , also , control all the little elements of a storm: lightning , winds , temperature , precipitation , moisture , humidity , pressure , rain , and thunder.

𝘋𝘦𝘩𝘺𝘥𝘳𝘢𝘵𝘪𝘰𝘯: Saint is able to dehydrate anything containing moisture through the use of both his desert god ability and his ability of moisture manipulation.
𝘚𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘔𝘢𝘯𝘪𝘱𝘶𝘭𝘢𝘵𝘪𝘰𝘯: Saint is able to create, shape and manipulate sand. Saint’s body is technically made up of red sand that he can manipulate at will. to hurt him tremendously is to make the sand that holds up his body break off and break away leaving him to recuperate in a state akin to a sand dune or loose sands with barely any form , but it takes immense damage to reduce him to such.
𝘩𝘦𝘢𝘭𝘪𝘯𝘨 & 𝘮𝘦𝘥𝘪𝘤𝘪𝘯𝘦: Saint is able to heal likely through rain as it's the easiest , most controllable medium he knows the best. through a mixture of plant knowledge and magic , he's able to create plants that cure and heal a lot of ailments. though there isn't any heal all , be all , other than the flower of life , which he can grow. it's just not something readily given out , especially to mortals.
𝘗𝘭𝘢𝘯𝘵 & 𝘝𝘦𝘨𝘪𝘵𝘢𝘵𝘪𝘰𝘯 𝘎𝘳𝘰𝘸𝘵𝘩: he's able to grow plants through both rain and promoting the fertility in soil , rapidly growing plants of all Constitutions as he desires easily enough.
𝘗𝘭𝘢𝘨𝘶𝘦 & 𝘚𝘪𝘤𝘬𝘯𝘦𝘴𝘴: on the reverse , he's able to send sickness , ailments , and plague. it's not necessarily a special ability as most gods can do this as they please.
𝘍𝘪𝘳𝘦 𝘔𝘢𝘯𝘪𝘱𝘶𝘭𝘢𝘵𝘪𝘰𝘯: as to be expected , he's been blessed with fire manipulation. it's something he and Horus share for far different reasons.
𝘐𝘯𝘥𝘰𝘮𝘪𝘵𝘢𝘣𝘭𝘦 𝘚𝘦𝘹𝘶𝘢𝘭𝘪𝘵𝘺: Saint has an indomitably strong and powerful sexuality that's innately imprinted in all aspects; biological, physical, mental, natural, emotional, social, spiritual, etc., Giving them a life full of sexual pleasure and ecstasy that can transcend their inexhaustible libido and unyielding romance to potentially any supernatural levels by any and most effective ways possible to their innate sexual nature. Saint is able to form connections with , use the energy produced in the meeting of divine souls and bodies , and attract those that are already attracted to him to a degree that they often are disarmed by him. Set is said to have had the sexual ability to make most of the women he ever laid want to marry him , or have married him.
𝘎𝘦𝘯𝘥𝘦𝘳 𝘔𝘢𝘯𝘪𝘱𝘶𝘭𝘢𝘵𝘪𝘰𝘯: Saint is able to change the physical genders of men and women at will. gods weaker than him can likely be changed , but otherwise , it's largely focused and able to be done on mortals and demigods.

𝘪𝘭𝘭𝘶𝘮𝘪𝘯𝘢: the spear of Ares-Anhur that has been broken and swallowed up by the dragon Sairdir. when the battle was finished and Saint to retrieve it , it was a a dual natured weapon: a waset / Was-Sceptre on the blessed side and a bident when turned to the other. enchanted steel gleams red in the light of the sun like a terrible thing , blackened vaguely at the pointed, small forked bottom and black head with square ears gleaming and ruby eyes at the top. used as both a magic staff , spear , and a blunt object. on the alternative side , illumina takes on a form much more gnarled organic in nature than metal and rods. the bident comes with the soft chirp of lightning , thick wood gnarled and horned with bone , a was-staff that thundered and was struck at the tips when it came to a halt in his hand. the energy both taken and generated from it is immense to the point that even gods have a hard time not only lifting it as it weighs over 6000 lbs , but a hard time being able to touch it given the energy payload it can take from the soul , the magic , and the divine energy. Saint is always generating more than most gods themselves can comprehend , because he's always been made to support an entire god and now this includes himself , like a star able to blaze as hot as the star Sirius.
𝘺𝘢𝘮’𝘴 𝘤𝘢𝘨𝘦: enchanted with purposely with a dehydration effect around the outside , it keeps the god trapped in a small cage about the size of a peach as punishment to the god Yam for trying to take him and do harm to him in revenge to Set when he was far more mortal. now , he's used like an always available source of pure , enriched water with many different cleansing properties. very good for his plants.
𝘷𝘦𝘶𝘯𝘢𝘴𝘪𝘢𝘯 𝘨𝘢𝘶𝘻𝘦: an enchanted roll of gauze that never seems to run out. it is , also , imbued with Saint's healing touch and washed in Yam’s waters. while unrolling it and wrapping it around a wound , the properties of stemming blood and keeping a wound that's been cleaned tightly kept makes this gauze sought after by soldiers especially. each of his temples all carry enough to treat special cases.
𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘮𝘢𝘭𝘢𝘥𝘺 𝘭𝘦𝘵𝘵𝘦𝘳𝘴: said to contain ever disease both natural , supernatural , and inflicted to the body and the spirit that's ever come into contact with it. a diseases composition is recorded , it's symptoms , how to identify it , what works to cure it , and what can soothe the symptoms.
𝘢𝘳𝘬 𝘰𝘧 𝘤𝘩𝘢𝘰𝘴: was the item contained in the scroll Thoth gave him to translate from the chaos realms. it's a thing containing knowledge in a foreign language and soaked in what smells of primordial and Eldritch hands. by mixing it with his old grimoire , it came to be a book of spells and observances on the dark corners of chaos.
𝘴𝘦𝘵𝘦𝘴𝘩’𝘴 𝘸𝘪𝘨: the wig he sometimes wears is able to change to any color and style he wants. typically speaking , Setesh Qaihara is the one often seen wearing the most. technically , as a god , Sutekh Typhonia doesn't wear a wig at all keeping to the long black curtain that is his hair full of stars.
