a cigarette dangled in his mouth one from the pack he had gotten from the gas station that never checked the age, he was running later and he had a valid excuse in his hand he held a record he brought for sienna a gift just because. arriving he tucks the cigarette behind his ear “sienna” he calls out pushing his way around, a frown only deepening the longer he waits to find her. as he pushes the final door open he wants to leave but instead he is staring “sienna?” and he feels stupid the record still protectively close to his chest.
