thank you eve, evy and j for maintaining hshq for so many years. words cannot express how thankful, grateful and appreciative we are! couldn’t have imagined better admins and couldn’t have imagined better friends. to the members, i’ve never seen such dedicated writers before and have never seen this level of characterization and plot development. yes, this is just roleplay, but it’s still a hobby and through this hobby i had the pleasure of reading many great stories and meeting such great people. for many of us, roleplaying is a shared secret we have. we wouldn’t really dare to tell our real life friends about this aspect of our lives and i think that created an unspoken bond between us. and because of the unspoken bond, i think it hurts that much more that this will be the last time we will really talk to each other or be this present on the dash again. many of you, including myself, have been here during major transitional moments in our personal lives — but what remained a constant for us was hshq. these silly little plots created great distractions for us and allowed us to have a creative release through talking about our muses, the tasks, the threads and the edits. we created our own fictional world which could respectfully be a show and a series in itself. we have all challenged each other, learned from each other and we’ve all grown quite fond of each other. now that it’s time to officially say goodbye, it’s becoming harder to let this go. i wish nothing but the best for everyone. i hope you excel or continue excelling in life. you will all be greatly missed and i can’t thank you guys enough for everything. with love, serre
