☾ ˟    ━━    halloween is natty’s favorite holiday, naturally ( a night of tricks and maybe some treats? yes, please ). there’s a lot of other fun aspects she enjoyed though, aside from being able to chat freely with people with little to no consequence-- including dressing up, haunted houses, and pumpkins. she’d already seen several students walking around with singing, laughing, and even some cursing jack-o-lanterns. immediately after, she decides she wants her own.

these kinds of activities are definitely way more fun with people, so she’d prepared for it, already having set up a plan to meet with bonnie to carve and paint their pumpkins. matching ones would be adorable. so there’s an understandable hop in her step as she saunters towards the pumpkin patch, hands in the pockets of her schoolgirl skirt ( yes, she made them have pockets ), relaxed and enjoying the crisp fall air.

a familiar figure ahead and already in the field-- natty’s feet take an immediate detour so that she can appear unnoticed, steps careful as she steps up behind her friend until she’s right behind her-- “boo.”
