valentines facetime, with @lgcsomin
if yohan was honest, he missed somin. he had gotten use to seeing her every now and then that it just became a natural thing for him to look forward to seeing her, but with him being restricted and somin now having her own manager following her around, it made it absolutely impossible to see each other.
and he hated it.
he had been missing her a lot, and with valentines day approaching, he felt gutted. deep down, he wanted to do something with her, even if it was just another little bubble tea thing but being unable to see each other made it incredibly difficult to do anything, and it kind of stumped the whole “shall i tell her how i feel?” thing he had going on in his head. it had pushed the whole feelings thing back god knows how long, and he felt completely disheartened about it.
what had been little meet ups and spending time together in person, was now stolen texts late at night when they could and cherished facetime calls, the closest they could get to seeing each other. it was saddening deep down, but there was nothing they could do about it. instead, they just worked around it, tried their best to catch each other when they could and spend as much time with each other.
he wanted to give her something for valentine’s day, but it was practically impossible for him to send her anything because he couldn’t see her, couldn’t exactly give it to someone close to her to give to somin, he couldn’t get it delivered to her. they checked the packages and after the scolding he got in front of all of the trainees, he didn’t think it was the best idea to send her a gift when he knew they could see it and know him and somin were still in contact.
which is how yohan found himself on this night, staring at her contact name on his phone screen, his airpods beside him, fully charged and ready. he takes a few long moments, taking deep breaths before pulling out his airpods and putting them in his ear, shuffling up onto his bed so he was leaning against the wall and clicks the facetime icon, that familiar ringing sound echoing through his airpods for a few moments before the call connects. that familiar face he had grown to adore lighting up his screen. “hey, you.” he mumbles softly, a soft smile immediately greeting his face.
