vivian let out a soft sigh as she opened one of the last remaining boxes in her and alec’s apartment, they may have gotten the tiniest bit distracted more than a couple times and put off unpacking the non-essentials. she couldn’t help but laugh a bit at what was inside, it was filled with different pictures, most of them containing different members of the hamilton cast, some of just the couple, some in costume, some from the many cast parties, all of them accompanied by tons of amazing memories.

one she pulled out had a hand going over her mouth as she let out another laugh, it was of the cast but alec and vivian were in the front doing the goofiest poses with each other, her heart swelling a bit at the memory with her favorite curly headed goofball. “okay these need to be hung up immediately!” she called out to him with another laugh as she continued to sort through the pictures.

vivian had been going back and forth between her thoughts and feelings for over a week now, contemplating what her next step would be. after a big push from jonell, she decided that she needed to try again, she wouldn’t give up on something she had been dreaming about for years, her sister meant to much to her. she still struggled a bit throughout the day with herself, going through pros and cons in her head and overanalyzing everything until it had gotten later in the day and if she didnt leave right then, she would lose her chance. so she sucked it up and made her way to the lima bean, making it in with about 15 minutes to spare she made her way into the shop, her hands fidgeting with nerves.

Riley had borrowed her baby books from her dad, her curiosity being peaked after her and Jude had been talking about them. She had looked through them before, never really being interested until now, especially with the new discovery she had found. It was the one picture in the book she had never seen, hidden behind the pages of the multiple other happy memories, was a picture of her as a newborn being held by her biological mother. She had never seen a picture of her before, only getting brief descriptions from Sheldon, and seeing this picture now, brought up new feelings she never thought she would have to deal with and questions she never thought she would have to ask. The tears started running down her face immediately, mother’s day already being hard enough for her but this brought along a new assortment of feelings. She knew there was only one person she wanted, Jude. So she texted him quickly, so happy for his response and set her phone back down while she waited for him, curled up as small as she could on the couch where she could see out the window, tears cascading down her cheeks.

Riley had been thinking about bringing a dog into her life practically forever, but when she finally moved into her own place a while back, it seemed her dream could finally be a reality. She had finally made the decision to just bite the bullet and go to the animal shelter, but she really didn’t wanna go alone. That was when she decided to text Jude, they had known of each other back in school but recently got close when they found out they worked out at the same gym. Once she got confirmation from him, she glanced in her mirror to make sure she looked away, adjusted her shirt a bit before grabbing her keys, wallet, and phone and heading out the door. She locked it behind her as she made her way to her car, unlocking it and getting in the drivers seat. She started the car and adjusted the volume from her last jam out session, before buckling up and heading off towards Jude’s place.
