CHILDHOOD HEADCANON:

Erika’s favourite ballet as a child was ‘Swan Lake’, though potentially the most popular, it was the very story that introduced her to ballet and the works of Tchaikovsky. It wasn’t at all uncommon to find the young ghost girl in her full ballet gear outside of her lessons, attempting to recreate the choreography she had once seen in the production. One year she was able to convince her father to make her a costume from it for halloween- a dress that allowed her to swap between Odette and Odile.

It was a story she would share with the other ghosts after seeing performances, and it had always been close to her heart- even having a book of the story on her nightstand. She often dreamed of being able to dance in this incredible ballet.

Even nowadays, though she has many favourite ballets after being exposed to and even performing in them- Swan Lake is very close to Erika’s heart and brought her to where she is today.

You can only imagine her happiness when she got the chance to actually play Odette in a production held by her ballet academy in Auradon…

9.Do they have a word or phrase that they tend to overuse?

Erika CHRONICALLY uses the word ‘Sorry’, to the point that it’s a genuine habit she is working on fixing! No matter what it is, she will likely say ‘Sorry’ at least 3 times when talking to you, even apologizing for apologizing.

It has been a habit of hers for years and who truly knows if it’s going to stop or not. \\

HEADCANON:

When Erika was little, if she was ever upset about something, one of the best things that would cheer her up or make her laugh was Randall’s signature head trick, transferring it from his body to his hatbox. Something about it was so unbelievably funny to the little ghost girl.

One could only imagine how funny she found it when she learned she had the same ability to remove her own head. She was also quite young upon learning that, and the first thing she did was rush off to show her father that she too, could master his trick.\\

HEADCANON:

Over the course of her unlife, Erika would often have her hair done by Emily, seeing as the two have the same hair. Whether that be taming her long, wild curls before the day or styling it before one of the mansion’s balls or parties. It was a time where the two would have many conversations as Erika grew up, and many times that Erika would confide in Emily for advice as she got older.

It wouldn’t at all be uncommon for an act as simple as a mother doing her daughter’s hair to turn into a much deeper conversation, and it’s where Erika learned many of the little life lessons or pieces of advice Emily taught her.

With how much she looks up to her mother, it’s no surprise that Erika carried everything she was told in those simple moments, and looks back on them with fond memories.\\
