"What does a girl have to do to get her hands on something sparkly around here?"

The fae's body hits the ground with a vicious thud. A jagged and raw cavern replaces what might have once been a throat, and Crixus doesn't flinch at the wet sound as the corpses weight settled in against the dirt. "South of here," he offers little in the way of apology, this deserves none. They were warned of what was to come, and still these fae choose to flounder about as if their lives have not changed as drastically as they surely have. "There is a settlement that must be abandoned." It'd taken weeks, far longer than he'd have liked to pick up on any single track of the rebels, and perhaps it'd been discovered too late.
Though the queen had not forbidden their hunt, the little sense of urgency - of belief in the traditions and history his sister passed to the fae - had been hinderence enough. They watched on as if the Dragomir family and all those who arrived with them were the problem - or worse, a fantastical delight. He couldn't tell which felt worse. "I give it three days before it's over run."

"Nope. - no.. i don't.." ezra wouldn't necessarily have said she ripped her hand from their grasp, but there had been a certain, startling finality to it as she stepped back, corralled back in by the surging crowd. another gesture an attempt to persuade them otherwise. I don't dance... Something something hips -- questions and unwanted encouragements shattered within the sound of the surrounds. would her ears ring forever after this? would she spend the rest of her life thinking she'd suddenly become ailed by tinnitus? or would a split second decision to join her friends become a hauntingly life changing choice? she'd have put money on the latter. another damp cold hand paws at her, tugging her back into the fray of what she can only assume is this clubs excuse for a dancefloor. all she sees is entirely too much gyrating and misplaced purchase. "two left feet, clumsy." small words, minimal syllables. maybe it'd get through the sphere of noise a little easier - until recognition in the person slipping by from within the crowd fills her lungs with stale, putrid air, "my friend - they're, they're not well.. i'm uh," she's forced to pull away for a third time as the stranger reaches for her hand, "no, no dancing.. i already told you that."
" HEY!! Hey, you... y-you haven't happened to have seen a Noibat fly this way have you?? "
open starter muse: cassius zhu (he/him), ghost-writer, bi, switch plot: we’ve been family friends for years and i’ve never thought of you as anything other than platonic, but i came across your only fans account and now i can’t stop watching your videos possible connections: friend, neighbor, best friend's sibling/parent, anything else that would make sense. older muses encouraged. m/f/nb 21+
cassius was seated in the middle of the couch in his living room, phone in one hand while the other palmed at his growing bulge. videos and images of an only.fans account flashed on his screen. he never subscribed to these sorts of things, but when he found their account, he couldn't deny his curiosity. hand dug under his pants now as he freed his length, stroking it with moans that drowned out the sounds of someone--the very person he was watching on his screen--stepped up behind him. "fuck! shit, wait it's not what you think!"
he's just sorta sitting there, looking through his phone after he'd gotten off of a phone call not long beforehand. just an average guy, doing average guy things.
