It was slight, and it was something that could easily be lost if you were to blink, but hints of a gentle smile could be found on Violet’s usual taciturn face. She rarely wanted much for material possessions, so in turn, it was rare for her to receive gifts. Futaba didn’t even know her for long, and yet she was still thoughtful enough to go out of her way to get Violet presents that she would actually use.
“Thank you very much. You are very kind, Miss Futaba.” She hoped that she sounded as grateful as she felt. However, the corners of her mouth fall a little as she paused for a moment. “…I must apologize though. I don’t celebrate any holidays similar to this where I am from, so I did not prepare a present beforehand.”
Now that she thought about it… did she still have time to spend those tickets?
