concept edits for constance in AU’s such as but not limited to TADC and FNAF. ( and perhaps just general analog horror ?? )
( the character used is mu.rido from s.ailor moo.n. ) here’s a gifset of what her mechanics (?) look like switching from one version to the other. i’ll also just reblog it onto my blog as well.
TADC -> while running from law enforcement after husband number 3, constance ducks into an abandoned building to hide out for a bit. while inside she finds a computer and headset that are mysteriously still running. boredom & curiosity make her eventually sit at the computer to see what’s on it, and put on the headset after wiping off potential dust. the next thing she knows she’s on a stage looking down at some very strange looking…things ? animals ? people ? in a completely different place than she was the literal second earlier. she's been given the form of a doll with a bridal theme; complete with a wedding dress, a veil, and three strings of pearls around her throat. she looks sweet of course, with her brown eyes and painted on blush.
but when caine sends the group on an adventure with horror elements involved, she exhibits a very violent streak that doesn't align with her soft "blushing bride" appearance. her name in this au is tempest; in the same way that her real name is sort of the opposite of her. her circus name reflects the true her and is the opposite of how she appears to be. tempest isn't running around trying to kill the other group members by the way, but she has her fun / scratches that itch usually by killing NPC's even when the adventure doesn't call for it. she has however attacked and/or killed jax on more than one occasion simply for being irritating.
FNAF -> hella work in progress / not the final version at all but: constance’s spirit possessing a bride animatronic ( originally created for a very limited show at a fazbear location ) the mechanics in the gif set would come into play here. with her “nice” form being the pretty bride in a pristine dress and the “mean” version being more visually unsettling and uncanny. blood stains on a worn and tattered wedding dress, hair black instead of cotton candy pink, eyes wide and unblinking. yellow irises instead of light brown. visible lines that run down from the corners of her lips. the animatronic isn’t built that way of course so I imagine the transformation aspect is supernatural. there’s a lot of info missing ik like why was she there ? how did she die ? i’m tryna figure it out too 🫡
here are my thoughts at the moment. while begrudgingly on an outing with her newest paramour to celebrate his nephew’s birthday, the nephew in question disappears and she goes to look for him. only to find him in a dangerous situation. she basically dies saving him, an act she regrets after her spirit becomes attached to the bride animatronic. she’s literally like “why the fuck did I save that snot nosed brat 🙄” girly didn’t know she was gonna straight up die.
( this does beg the question, is there goodness deep down inside of her ? she regrets it after but in the moment she did in fact step up to defend someone who needed it. )
