Okay so.. let’s talk about this. This blog is a place for thirst and a place to appreciate my faves, but it honestly makes me really uncomfortable when I see folks over objectifying an artist/actor/etc and reducing them down to sex objects. I know that might sound a little strange coming from a blog that posts so much smut and I am thirsty for them a lot. However, they are so much more than their looks, THEIR DICKS, and the smut I post about them. Now, to reduce a character that an actor PLAYS is one thing, and that’s your own problem if you can’t grasp the characters’ inner workings of their development or whatever, but to completely reduce a REAL PERSON or people (and yes, I am referring to mötley crüe) to nothing but sex objects, literally dick robots with no other feelings is actually sickening.

These are not your friends. They’re not your toys. They are living, breathing, humans and you have no right to take their humanity away from them because you’re their “fan”. I don’t even like using that term for anyone who can’t see passed their good looks and appreciate them for what they are. You’re not a fan if you can’t see them for them. You’re shallow and gross, tbh.

These men have gone through so much, and to thirst after them is fine, we all do, but to act like they’re nothing more than faces attached to penises is actually disturbing.

Please remember that YOU have no idea what they’ve been through, and you never will and that’s fax. You will never know them like you think you do !

This series has almost killed me…It’s not done yet, but I have decided to post half and then continue working on the other half that explains how this happened. 

I was initially inspired by @itspusspeepers‘s heartbreaking but also mind-blowing art to paint something equally heartbreaking. I thought I would finish it by letting Regis slip into eternal hibernation next to Geralt’s body while dreaming a reunion with his beloved witcher in that slumber. However, I decided it would be too cruel for them - they deserve something better than this crappy ending!!!; 

And so I managed a different “ending”. However, I just discovered I have made everything more complicated, and the series has to be extended, for I prefer to tell a story with most of its details explained. 

In fact, I wondered if this series could somehow be an alternative ending of @misakikaito‘s amazing fanfic sanguinem et dolorem et mortem where (****spoiler (extend the tags to see))?

Finally, I added a few so-called “subtitles” to help tell the story and make them look more….canon? (sheepish smile

Anyhow, I have to thank all of you who have encouraged me with warm words and @seherrons @little—games (I always read and love your long tags!) @contravenetum @asparrowsfall . I doubt I would have made it without you guys since I have thought about giving up several times by now.

But not to worry, I will try my best not to leave the series as it is right now - I can hardly think of anything else to do during holidays other than painting my favorite couple.
