Rushing to the door as the bell rang, Naomi opened it with a grin. "Hi!" She exclaimed, moving aside to welcome Madelyn in. She wondered if Madelyn thought it was weird that she'd invited her over. Surely not since she'd shown up, right? Naomi was a fan of her work and was always looking for new friends in the area. This felt like a perfect opportunity.
"I'm glad you're here. I just started cooking." She giggled, leading Madelyn into the kitchen. "Make yourself at home, please! Pretty much any drink you could wish for is in the fridge. Help yourself to anything."
Returning to the pan on the stove, she continued gently stirring the scrambled eggs. "I'm thrilled to meet you. This might be a bit of an unconventional way to meet. But, I'm a huge fan of your work." // @notsarahcameron
