*The Captain Hook theme plays one final time*
She can’t leave the tower, but Killian has made sure Alice has had the most fulfilling life possible while stuck there. He’s given his all for her, his starfish.
There’s that unshakable determination, however misguided. That’s the reason why I kept you as a partner, detective. That and your good heart. Well, seeing as we’re allowing certain death to bring up secret truths, I do have to ask you - given the amount of power you once held, how come you never used it to destroy me? Because you were the closest thing I ever had to a friend.
I’m too emotional over this to come up with a decent caption, honestly...
Those blue eyes tho...
Can we talk about Colin O’Donoghue and his superb acting skills once again?? In 7.09, we saw Rogers find the hook. He picked it up, he glanced at it, we all had our freak out and moment of hope... only for him not to make the connection. In 7.21, we see him with the hook again, only... this isn’t Rogers anymore. And even if you hadn’t known that he was now awake by the end of 7.20, you’d still know that it’s Killian Jones. And that’s all on Colin. No amount of writing or directing can effect how he’s able to portray an emotion or feeling so well. You can see it. Killian Jones has woken up. Captain Hook is back. And Colin nails it, in as little as 27 frames. This is why I am such a fan of his. He’s so good at his craft and it’s amazing to witness.
Her whole face lights up when she realizes he does believe her, and his follows because he’s happy to see her happy. Because even though he can’t remember it, her happiness is his as well.
Captain Hook is ready to go back home.
