sincline is, on all fronts, 100% absolutely evil. there’s not one ounce of good in him. along with that, he’s an interesting character, and that’s interesting in itself because he has no redeeming qualities whatsoever. the closest he has to one of those is not wanting fala dead, but that’s for his own selfish reasons. he sees fala as an object to collect, he mentions multiple times wanting to “add her to his collection” and that’s the only reason he wants to keep her alive. he can’t collect her if she’s dead. she’s stated that she’d rather be dead than his a few times. she uses that to her advantage, and he gets outsmarted by her. oh, his “collection” is a bunch of women he’s enslaved and forced at his mercy. yea, he’s that gross. once one of them accidentally spilled a drink onto his lap and he murdered her in cold blood. he’s a misogynist, a rapist, a murderer and a slave owner. pedophile too, fala’s only sixteen. he’s disgusting.
on top of being absolutely disgusting, he’s pretty smart, and that’s terrifying. he’s conquered a nebula, and he’s outsmarted akira and nearly killed him. those are two examples i’ve seen so far, i haven’t watched very many episodes with sincline in them, but he’s already interesting. anyway, his plan to leave akira for dead would have worked if it weren’t for fala and the others coming to rescue him. i think fala specifically played the biggest role in akira’s rescue. it’s cool to me because i think sincline could probably easily defeat golion if it weren’t for fala. he knows what he’s doing, but it’s fala keeping him from succeeding. it’s her rescuing her teammates and the fact she knows how to outsmart him using his grossness to her advantage that stops him from defeating golion. daibazaal himself tells sincline that it’s fala keeping him from his goal, and he’s right. fala’s pretty amazing, and if she weren’t there, he’d probably be able to defeat golion, but she is, and so he can’t. that’s cool as hell.
