we just ran a story at work about why banana flavoring doesn't taste like bananas and friends I'm so fandom-poisoned that I giggled aloud in real life
an article i’m editing for work has three full paragraphs calling bucky a villain and i’m like
are shaggy rogers and steve rogers related, and if not, can they be?
i’ve been out of the mcu loop for a while, so could you please elaborate on the peggy carter as eugenicist claim? is that from the misc au series or from like the second season of her show? -confused
It's from The First Avenger (and a smidgen from Winter Soldier). Everything I mentioned in my post is from the movies, because the AC show is only canonish and not canon-canon, and What If Captain Carter is a totally different Peggy (who also isn't great but in totally other ways, and those are better spoken to in other people's posts of that post wrt Peggy and privilege). I wanted to make sure I was only taking MCU canon into consideration bc that's more fair.
Today at work I got to write a headline about Bucky because Sebastian was talking about him at some press thing, and then I was telling my parents that "I got to write a headline about Bucky!" and my mom said "What the heck's a Bucky?" and I was like "We were so close to a hilarious moment."
