**thankfully it wouldn’t work on her but it would piss her off *severely*

hc + 🐈 for a pet/animal-themed headcanon

On the whole Aggie has always been a dog person. She never had any as a kid and the first one she ever had was a golden retriever named Sadie that was Bobby’s first (and only) seeing eye dog. The whole thing at her place and all the dogs started shortly after she permanently moved to Gravity Falls. She’d inherited the house years earlier but when she finally moved in Bobby was off to college and Sadie the retriever had passed away. She was really lonely, since it was much harder to keep in contact with Bobby and she wasn’t exactly keen on going out in the world and making friends. She did have a cat living with her but he wasn’t exactly the most companionable animal (he still isn’t, he’s still alive and is very mean) so she plucked up her courage and went to the nearest animal shelter. The intention was to get one dog. Just the one. But when she got there they all looked so sad, and there weren’t that many in the shelter at the time, just like… Half a dozen. So she just. Took all of them. It was a split second impulsive decision, one second she was chatting about adopting a border collie mix and the next she had six dogs loaded in her van. Since then she’s usually the person who intercepts stray dogs before they can get snatched up by animal control, or she’ll adopt a real “problem case” dog with a bite record from the shelter. She’s even the type of person who will hear about dogs being rescued from natural disasters and offer to take some in. She just can’t say no to a stray. And she really DOES have a knack with them, nearly every dog she’s had in her care is very well trained and friendly, though they all share her sort of distrustful nature. But the more Aggie seems to trust a person, the more dogs you’re likely to see roaming the woods around her house, or in her house proper. Realistically I think the number of dogs is like… 12-15 dogs but for the sake of comedy it seems like it’s an endless rotation of dogs of all shapes and sizes. I’ve always joked that if Aggie was a canon character in the show, it would be a running gag to put more and more different dogs in the backgrounds of scenes at her house.

As an aside, RF Olive also has a pack of dogs but unlike Aggie they’re generally all in the same big scary and mean looking categories. Think Bully breeds, Rottweilers, Dobermans, big ol strong dogs. They’re all well trained and obedient and VERY protective of the humans that care for them. They can be convinced by Aggie (with the help of some cheese) to be nice to outsiders though.

**absolutely stupid but objectively funny headcanon based in me watching a sort of weird artsy movie that I don’t really understand

**aggie will agree to watch weird artsy smartguy movies with Ford and will discuss them at length with him, and she is able to keep up with him in such discussion

**anyway she and ford watch such a movie with Stan present and he just watches them chat about it when it’s over and as Aggie’s getting ready to leave or go to bed with Stan or whatever, he’s asks how she can keep up with all this boring shit and she’s just like

“Oh, I’m not. I’m just reading his mind and basically saying what he thinks back to him. Don’t tell him though, watching weird movies with him has really improved our friendship.”

My muses + Names/Nicknames Headcanons

Aggies Nicknames/Names for Stan:

Stanley Pines - Full names are for when you’re in trouble. (Does he have a middle name?????)

Stanley - Used pretty interchangeably with Stan, used more often when in private.

Stan - Used interchangeably with Stanley, used more when they’re around other people.

Old Man - Used playfully.

Captain - Private 100% No one gets to hear her call him that except him.

Sailor - Less private than Captain but it’s a nickname with very flirtatious undertones so she’s more likely to use it when they’re alone.

((All names above can be enhanced in affection by her adding the word “My” to the front of it))

Gramps - Calls him this to tease him when he and Olive hang out.

She also is not immune to the odd "babe" or "dear" or other term of endearment slipping out but they're usually used in a teasing and playful way.

Her names for Stanford:

Stanford Filbrick Pines - Same situation as Stan, full names are for when you’re in trouble. She uses it wayyyy more than she uses Stan's full name.

Stanford - What she usually calls him.

Ford - Used way more when she was a kid, uses it when she’s feeling particularly Buddy Buddy or playful with him.

Sixer - Similar to above, but she seems to only ever say it if Stan is also around.

Doofus - Affectionate, dates back to childhood. Rarely used now. Extras: She calls Mabel "Mabie" sometimes, calls her son as "Bub" fifty percent of the time, common Olive nicknames are Junebug and Sunspot, though those were more prevalent when she was little, and are only used now when she's being extra soft/comforting with Olive.

Olives names for Stan:

Mister Pines - What she called him through most of the events of the main series, up until Weirdmageddon.

Stan - What she calls him now.

Old Man - Affectionately and as an insult in equal measure

Gramps - No one knows she calls him this in her head. Only really starts thinking this the longer he and Aggie are together. Would die of embarrassment if anyone knew.

Olive’s names for Stanford:

Sir - What she called him almost exclusively up until after Weirdmageddon.

Doc/Doc Pines - What she calls him at present. Doc to his face, Doc Pines when she talks about him. (She has the same naming convention with McGucket)

Extras: She refers to Old Man McGucket as "Doc/Doc McGucket", i picture her and Dipper calling each other Mulder and Scully interchangeably for some reason.

Bobbys names for Stan:

Mister Pines - Used it once when he was introduced to him and hated it! Made him feel like a little kid, resolved to just call him Stan.

Stan - What he calls him 99% of the time.

Old Man - Affectionately after they start getting along more.

Bobby’s names for Stanford:

Doctor Pines: Used a lot early on, since Stanford usually calls him Doctor Yearling or Robert.

Stanford: Used as familiarity grows.

Extras: Calls Olive "Scarab", seems unable to refer to his mother in any other way besides "Ma"

**I don’t go into much bc I’m always on my post series bullshit but god weirdmageddon was so sick and it gave both Olive and Aggie heaping piles of additional trauma

**Olive already had the start of abandonment issues after being left by her parents but now those issues are about 6000 times worse

**she managed to pull it together until the twins left but as soon as they were gone she basically shut down and wouldn’t leave her room

**she also spent most of weirdmageddon following Stan like a shadow since she ended up at the shack while Aggie was off doing her own magic shit, so the “loss” of him (while temporary) really shook her up

**she’d wake up in the middle of night crying and yelling for her grandma and it reached a point where she had to sleep in Aggies bed with her, which suited Aggie fine bc she was having the same issue but about Olive.

**Aggie literally had to have Bobby take a sabbatical to come to Oregon to stay with them to 1, her Olive through starting school and B, getting Aggie (and Olive) through Stan and Ford leaving for the boat trip. He had to go back to Egypt for work but BOY did he feel bad so he called them basically every day. Neither could really explain what was wrong, so he just assumed Olive was struggling to adjust to school and that his mom missed? Her Boyfriend or whatever?? He even suggested they try therapy (which he’d been going to to cope with his divorce lol) and they both were like yeah sure we’ll look into it and then didn’t bc no therapist could help with this

**Aggie buried herself in her magic work and withdrew from society pretty much entirely after the Pines men left. She’d drive Olive to school and then use magic to take her and the van home, not wanting to be seen by anyone. She’d spend entire days in the basement pouring over cursed objects and books, purging and lick of imagery that could even be vaguely connected to bill (since he was essentially responsible for the Salem branch of witches she had a lot of work to do there)

**they did both level out and recover, opening back up to the world and rejoining society but it never really leaves them, even as they move into new adventures. They were already fiercely protective of each other but it gets amplified tenfold after they nearly lost each other

austin hansen

parents: isaac & scarlett siblings: brayden (half), daisy

austin began drifting away from his family slightly when he was a teenager. he felt like his dad had more in common with brayden and he was always jealous of brayden for being close with both isaac and jacob.

brayden wanting to be a cop only pushed him closer to isaac and austin felt even further away from his father and brother and he started acting out to get attention.

now austin has calmed down slightly but he still likes to get into trouble from time to time. he is close with his mom and he goes to her over isaac for pretty much everything.
