Robin wasn’t usually the type of person to corner someone else at their job. He respected that one’s place of employment didn’t always reflect on one’s actions - as long as they occurred outside the workplace - but this scenario he was in surpassed any and all of his hitherto usual practices. Having asked around, as discreetly as possible, he’d found out that the person he was seeking just so happened to be the Dean to the local university - someone he had interacted with, personally, albeit brief and harmlessly. He let out a deep breath he’d been holding since his arrival on campus - having timed it so that Edgar was unavoidably detained in class - and knocked briefly on the door before letting himself in.

“Excuse me,” he spoke, belatedly, his gaze falling instantly on that of the other man. “I’ve recently become aware of -- of your nature. I would like to do business with you.”

tbh though we should get rid of the romantic trope where one character basically keeps annoying the other repeatedly despite the other character showing or telling them they’re annoyed but eventually admitting they like it

ooh ok my prediction is that Ella’s voices in her head are the people in hell and she can hear them for some reason. she has some supernatural connection either passed down from family or like given to her for some reason idk
