what is your opinion on only the young's song/video "i do"?
Very catchy, kind of weird lyrics – like, I’m not sure that I feel like it isn’t “friendzone”-y? But I also can’t 100% understand all of the lyrics off my first listen (I didn’t re-listen while making the Parisa gifs) so I may be misunderstanding it.
I’m constantly confused by what demographic OTY are aiming for. Like, I guess I feel like they acted post-XF like their original music would be a significant departure from the image XF foisted on them, but I don’t feel like this is, but it IS a mature enough song/topic/etc that they aren’t a “kiddie” band like XF wanted, but the catchiness and the cutesiness… I’m just not clear on what they’re aiming for. Are they literally a modern S Club 7? Are they going for being, like Simon said, “Steps but with better people”?
But I love Parisa and I like Betsy, so I will keep on keeping on. And the boys are good, too, I just prefer Parisa and Betsy.
