he turns looking at her with a great big ( dumb looking ) grin and pulls icey close. first a gentle forehead kiss and then a nose kiss for his friend. “thank you for being, nice.”

she leans into him, arms hugging his waist, but the kisses are unexpected;  she crinkles her nose a bit, laughing lightly. "of course, keagan, you silly."

       she sets down her uke, patting winston         gently as if to reassure him that he'd have        her full attention again in just a moment.

                   alright, she's been thinking && over-thinking for two hours SOLID. icey is positively desperate for a fresh perspective. like, right now. from someone-- ANYONE in the immediate vicinity. screw common, unspoken social protocols. springing up, she walks around to the nearest unsuspecting stranger && inquires:

              ❛ can i sit here? ❜ icey inquired mildly, gesturing to               the last vacant chair at the community table. the               coffee shop was positively bursting && seats were                scarce. so much for a quiet afternoon of studying,               icey thought-- good thing she hadn't been in the               mood for such a thing, in the first place.

  she'd never known another student to come into the   music hall at this time of night. icey usually found the   place quite deserted by eleven, which was just the way   she preferred it. she simply couldn't play piano well at   all when there happened to be people about. lithe fingers    fled the keys immediately when she heard the door swing   open, the last chord played resounding abrubtly.

    oh my stars, her hair is amazing.      icey ωιsнε∂ for the courage to     compliment the girl, but her voice     refused to comply. & so she stood,     staring awkwardly.
