I feel like it should be considered an impressive skill that I know all the lyrics to the Shrek in the Swamp: Karaoke Dance Party
Dracula featuring Keanu Reeves? i think you mean How Homoerotic Can We Make a Scene Where the Count Shaves Jonathan's Throat Before Facing Legal Repercussions?
ahhh :( it sucks seeing ppl self diagnosing themselves,,,,
why am i such a slut for characters who are looked down upon by whatever authority they answer to, despite the fact they try their hardest to be loved and accepted, only for them to one day snap and decide to seek painful vengeance?
i jsut read the words ‘rj butt plugs’ n i guess its time 2 die!
Pff what? I'm not crying, I'm totally fine.
Sometimes I feel as if y’all would have liked or enjoyed my hs as much as I did (or even more)
We were:
diverse as hell
no cliques. everyone got along
had english teachers who started prepping you for college essays (MLA, citing, research paper, essay, proper note taking, etc) since freshman year
had a pretty good arts program (choir, theater, band, orchestra, dance, traditional, digital)
had classes that allowed students to look outside of the “important subjects” for students who were interested in subjects that weren’t math, science, english, history (and we were rewarded for it too)
offered a combination class of: sci-fi, myth, dystopian, shakespearian, and debate (where you get to take one of them one semester and the other the next) for your senior year
you got to watch of rad sci-fi movies
you also got to read a lot of really rad sci-fi books
you get to read and learn about really cool and interesting myths that weren’t greek
you got to watch a lot of cool movies in myth (like karate kid, star wars)
you had to do a presentation but it was hella fun because you can either critique and criticize movies of your choice or make your own movie
debate class is where you get to argue with classmates (and who doesn’t like to argue with that asshole who doesn’t shut up????)
besides the very competitive honors/ap kids, everyone tried to look out for each other when it came to classes
#WEALLFAILTOGETHER
that mentality where if you cheat, you better help someone else cheat as well
#gottalookoutforeachother
the sports kids were actually hella nice and no one glorified the football team or the basketball team
teachers actually cared
teachers actually tried to work out a schedule with other teachers so that you’re not overwhelmed with tests and homework
extended deadlines because they actually pay attention to students
hella r a d
so f u n
no one bullied the special ed kids or the disabled students
seriously, no one
we all looked down on those who even dared made fun of them (which never happened)
no one bullied the poor kids either
the cafeteria food was actually pretty good
no expired/moldy food
everyone practically qualified for free food anyway
we had a week dedicated to learning about other countries and their culture and it was hella rad
most importantly this was a public school and it’s crazy how we had so many programs and classes offered
